When Holmes is listening to Beethoven's 9th symphony, Watson grabs the remote and shuts off the stereo. The sound editing deleted a large portion of the music so that the end of one choral section incorrectly segues into another choral section without the instrumental and vocal solo portions in between.
Holmes keeps pronouncing "pietà" as "pee-AY-tuh". It is more correctly stressed on the final 'à', this "pee-eh-TAH".
