Excellent plot and ambience until half time. From then on travels south in great hurry.
The extremely long scenes down in the catacombs of San Gaudioso are absolutely unintelligible and the end is an offence to all, to the people of Napoli and the spectators - an insult ending with the braying of donkeys??? Where is the music, the dance and the food? Mamma mia , que pena, the magic of Naples is more than that. We are left with a city half dead when, if you have visited Napoli, all you see around you is life, joy of life but it was too late for us locked up in a small cinema, like catacombs where half the people were like dead!!
