"Tangled 8" is based upon the idea of providing eight different versions of the same dialogue and thus compare how the implications change. I liked the concept and I still do, that is what saved the movie a few stars in my judgment.
As sad as that is, I have to say that this film is kind of unwatchable after a while. Whilest in theory it may be entertaining to see all the nuances of dialogue and acting unfold before your eyes, one and a half hour of repeating sentences can practically lead you near insanity or sleep. In my opinion it would have been maybe more interesting to let them improvise a certain scene and see how that unfolds. Maybe that would have added some more spice into the idea.
All in all I appreciate that someone had an idea and worked it through, in a way I'm still fantasized. Nevertheless it wouldn't be totally honest to praise this one for me.
