Sex & Nudity

  • Will compliments Leona on her body and suggests that Playboy should be interested.
  • Jim asks the team whether anyone is an expert on sex and the city. One team member starts to seek clarification as to whether he means the TV show or sex in general.
  • A man admits that he pays for sex.
  • Will awakens in his hospital bed to find that he is wearing pyjamas. He is concerned as to who undressed him, MacKenzie or the mean nurse.
  • There is some discussion about unmarried people moving in together. Sloan, thinking she will never see Don again, hints at the possibility of a relationship with him. A kiss between Jim and Lisa in a previous episode is talked about. Jim finally kisses Maggie. Maggie tries to kiss him back but Jim stops her. Lots of talk about relationships, loving your best friend's boyfriend etc. Most of them remain unresolved at the conclusion of the episode, MacKenzie believing that several of the team are settling for the wrong relationship.

Violence & Gore

  • Will is found on the bathroom floor in a pool of blood.
  • As Will lays in his hospital bed recuperating, MacKenzie attacks him with a magazine, hitting him repeatedly. She later takes similar action against Jim, only this time with a pillow.
  • Don likens Will's current position to a boxer who's just been knocked unconscious.
  • Will says that his nurse is trying to euthanize him.
  • Will's bodyguard offers to kick in a man's door.
  • Will receives 100 more death threats. They expect more. His bodyguard tells him he will not take a bullet for him.

  • A journalist asks whether Will was high while on air. She later states that she knows for a fact that he was. MacKenzie decides she will have to feed Will another ten (hash) cookies to get him to answer her question.
  • Lisa and Maggie have a drink together instead of dinner with Don.
  • Charlie sips a whiskey while watching News Night.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • We hear of a suicide of one of Charlie's sources.
  • The theme of media hacking phones of celebrities may anger some people.
  • Some of the themes that Will touches on in this episode - e.g. the Tea Party's supposed attitude to the poor - could be distressing to some.
