Rule of this show :- If 1950's story is in there, then episode gonna be good.

Eight episode of Monsterverse's most awaited series, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is premereired and here's my thoughts on this episode i.e. "Birthright":-

Positives :-

1. Cinematography are very good.

2. Production budget looks very high, and you could feel it in visuals and cinematography.

3. Writing and screenplay is better than previous one.

4. Episode is quite interesting.

5. 1950's storyline is very good and keeps you engaging.

Negatives:-

1. May's character is boring as hell. I mean no sense, no motivation, just dragging with the rest of the characters.

2. I'm not feeling any mystery or thrilling moments anymore in storyline, as of in starting episodes.

3. They shifted the focus from Monarch to Lee's personal trauma.

Final Thoughts and Review :-

Overall, "Birthright" is a quite decent episode of this show, setting up the things for finale.

Decent until the end

It was an alright episode as the 1950s sections are really entertaining but also interesting and then at the end when their setting of the bombs. First why did he pull the bombs when they were all in the building. Next why was the building crumbling when the bombs hadn't gone off yet. Why did the creature just appear conveniently when the timer was ticking. They could of easily avoided the whole situation if may didn't decide to throw herself at the ledge and it was all just a really lazy way to move on for the next episode when they should have just sat down and actually come up with a good solution.

Overall though the rest of the episode was alright, just the ending that was... questionable.
