A nice addendum esp. for fans of the original Misfits-crew

Warning: Spoilers
A typical well-done, funny Misfits-episode, even if a bit short, and an interesting "villain"/power. The best thing is: the (w)episode still features the old crew - in particular: I always enjoy the interaction between Simon and Rudy (i.e., Simon saving Rudy...), like in the hilarious 6th episode of the third season. The ending is a bit gory, so the faint-hearted should beware, and (spoiler alert:) even if it was a painting I felt sorry about the dog being resolved... Even if it is not much, I enjoyed this cute little addendum to the Misfits show, esp. since I have only watched the first three seasons so far, couldn't get myself to keep watching without Kelly and Simon and Nathan and Alisha.

Only for the very biggest Misfits (fans)

Warning: Spoilers
"Misfits: Erazer" is a 13.5-minute live action short film from the UK and this one came out back in 2011, so it is already more than 5 years old. It was written and directed by Mackay and Coghill and I must say that neither is known to me at all. The more known people linked to this one are probably the cast members as they (like the title already gives away) come from the fairly famous show "Misfits" and this clip is a little add-on elaborating about a mysterious character in detail. Action takes place at a prison, but even if this location and the genre description on IMDb suggests otherwise, it is more a comedy than a drama at its core and certainly not Sci-Fi. It is more about ounces of romance and drama below the comedic surface. I personally did not find it too interesting, entertaining or creative to check out the show it's based on and I would say it is only for the 5% die-hard fans of Misfits. Everybody else can skip it and they won't be missing much.

bland throwaway

I don't know what the point of this short was. It's as though the writers had an idea they couldn't flesh out into an entire episode, so they said, hey, let's make a little episode.

The result fails to scratch my Misfits itch. Everything is just breezed through. There's little sense of the characters, even though the characters were what fueled the series. The story isn't interesting nor surprising.

It was exciting to see that there was a bit of Misfits I hadn't seen before, but ultimately this was just a waste of my time.
