The original Bosch series was a triumph with great stories taken from the Michael Connelly books modernised where necessary and delivered in some great tense TV that remained completely believable throughout. Solving a crime, like Bosch's motivational memo, required getting off your a$$ and knocking on doors.
And then along came Legacy...
Out has gone all of the believable stories and getting any sort of information has been reduced to calling the completely unoriginal IT hacker character who, no matter what you need, can hack into any computer system and have the information you need in the time that you need it. Yawn!
I'll persevere with the show a little longer to see if the next case has any sort of intelligence applied to it by the writers. I'm not especially optimistic that it will though.
