Warning: Spoilers
I was wondering why the little kid kept appearing on the show but after reading some reviewers, it made sense.. she is kennhy johnson's daughter lol

well, swat now is suffering from the same problem as the good doctor.. characters with no depth.. the only one there that has anything going on is shawn.. the others basically just appear at the hospital..

swat is the same.. the asian dude has a girlfriend.. that was not mentioned at all during this season until they decided it was time to do something with the character since it has been a whole season of hondo and new girl doing stuff.. and street being her babysitter.

The whole back and forth with sanchez was completely unnecessary.. it doesnt matter if the bodyguard has done background check or whatever else he did. The police still has to check everything... you know, do their due dilligence...

btw going back to the begining of the episode.. the way they cleared the house... deadon giving his back to the stairs.. lol anyone at the top of it would have had him... and then when they got up the stairs, tan just went ahead to one room, ignoring the one in the right.. could have been taken out as well... what the hell..

going back... so sgt k and hondo go to the house, talk to the woman and the boyfriend.. they get out.. 2 guys in a car.. they rush out when hondo says to stop and then he just shoots the car? Lol... it didnt seem like the guy tried to run him over.

So tan's girlfriend is away as sports agent... with a lot of men... ohh what are the odds of that working out well in the end? Lol.

Worst episode jn a long time

Live review

This is a perfect example of how hat I reviewed a couple episodes ago. When deacon was running and gunning to get the murderer, the entire cast was lazy in support and the plot and script did not help

This round in this episode is more on par for the show. Like typical Hondo is insubordinate to superiors, lashes out in public (and specially in episode 6), takes petty piss matches with people in the show. Has the 80's cop stigma if publicqlly hunting people down he thinks as criminals that everyone doesn't see. And has to go outside the system to get justice. And zero repercussions of unprofessional behavior. Yet, in many episodes, he lectures fellow team members in the same things that he does over and over. And if there is a hole in the entire plot the show writes the plot to justify his arrogance. His role feels like it was written by The Rocks lawyers.

In this episode he gets into a petty piss match with a prior swat leader. Yea, the guy was not great...but the acting and script felt like kardashian drama and less like 2 cops arguing.

And why do the female cops have to be highlighted with extravagant drama that has to be solved. I wish their characters were better developed. All the guys have little no character arch except street. He actually has been the best developed character in the show.

And sadly, this episode had all drama and the only way the crime was solved was because the murderer literally drove into a cop at the scene of the crime. Lame.

Show should be called "Kenny J's daughter's reel show"
MDawn4 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm learning the only point of SWAT, a once amazing show, is to provide Kenny Johnson's daughter a gig so she can have an acting reel. There's no other reason for her continued appearance on the show and I wonder if this is why others have given this ep a low rating too. Is there a legitimate reason for Luca to spend all this time and effort on an insignificant character for what is now at least the 4th time? The only reason this kid keeps getting screentime (any time is way too much) is because Kelly is his daughter in real life, and what I'm saying (again) is if the producers of SWAT want to continue lowering themselves to nepotism for a talentless young woman just because Kenny wants her in the show, that is unprofessional of the production and a gigantic waste of time for the viewers. I almost stopped watching once for this reason and I started again because I like the show and thought ooh finally she's gone but then like in this ep, the recap drags up the past in order to justify Kelly being in the episode. Not again, I exclaim at the TV. All this waste to get this kid an acting reel (what other reason could there be??) and it must be in Kenny's contract. Which means as long as this show is on, it's the Kenny & Kelly show. You've chosen them over us and them over quality and integrity. Can't watch anymore then.
