So good old Lisa is in jail for murder. The food delivery is going to be less and less. So our guy goes to defend her. When I hear the "confession" that was used to accuse her of first degree murder, I think, "This is so lame." He is up against an adversary, a lawyer with a good track record against him. She needs bail but hasn't a prayer of coming up with a portion of two million dollars So a podcast guy shows up and bails her out for an exclusive. There are conflicts of interest all over the place. There is carelessness that won't be forgiven. Also, Lisa is such a motormouth. She can't be trusted to keep herself under control.

I have just started watching this series after reading most of the books and re+watching the movie. It has a fair adherence to them, keeping in mind the Industry's self policing requirement for diversification. Please pay your light bill so I can see the action. Someone get Cisco a throat lozenge. And pay for more voice coaches to eliminate the last vestiges of Mickey's accent. Ask the casting director to not cast such similar- looking actresses. In the darkness it was hard to tell the three of them apart without a program. Overall, I really like this adaptation of one of my favorite authors. I really wish my viewing system allowed me to also watch the Bosch series.
