Lots of storyline in the finale but ending was a bit of a disappointment. Midnight Whispers is the last movie of the Lifetime 4-parter, V. C. Andrews' Dawn. So, with Lillian, Clara Jean, and Randolph gone, both Jimmy and Dawn find out she's pregnant AGAIN! However, their happy time is cut short with Christie's sweet sixteen party and Dawn telling her daughter about her past life and the Cutler Curse. Dawn and Jimmy die all too soon. Christie and Jefferson, her half-brother, become the guardians of her Uncle Philip and Aunt Bets and that doesn't go over very well. So, she leaves to look for her birth father who unfortunately, can't care for them. Dejected, they both leave with Gavin, their step-uncle and return to the Meadows where Aunt Charlotte reveals more of the Cutler, Booth and Longchamp families' dark tale to Christie. But what happens to them there? You'll have to tune in to see how the twisted series ends. Despite its ending, the series on the whole is DEFINITELY recommended.
