The voice change is waffles is extremely off putting. My kid loves waffles and mochi and we watch it almost everyday. I was really excited for the new eps. Pop it on and was taken aback by waffles' voice. It's just not waffles and doesn't have the same charm as the last voice. It feels like a very different character and one that I am personally not willing to sit through. So I guess I'll just keep on watching the old episodes over and over and over again and so I've having to sit through listening to this new annoying voice. Because when it comes down to it I am the one that is going to have to sit through this day in day out and I just can't do it.

Binged it without my kids

I wanted to preview the show before I sat my four and eight year olds to watch it and accidentally binge-watched the entire thing! I think they're gonna love it and I guess I'll have to watch it again!
I liked the diverse cast and menu even as they worked with classic ingredients. It also just comes off as very joyful and kind and I know it's going to make my kids laugh. There are cute animations and very short songs that should get them off the couch as well but they aren't so long that they take over the entire episode. My only complaint is that the season is so short so I hope Netflix hurries up and makes more episodes!

This is such a great series! I really enjoyed the music, the topics, and the guest chefs. Waffles and Mochi are adorable. I about lost it when Mochi was rolled out in the bread episode. Waffles does need to learn how to land that car though; those are some rough landings! Hahaha, anyways, those two really make this show so silly and enjoyable. Their voices are just the cutest. Is there going to be talking merchandise?!?! Did you know their songs are on Spotify? I have started listening to their music with my niece. I am hoping for a second season, but until then I'll just have to watch this one all over again. I'm also inspired by the bread episode and want to try to create some of those recipes.
