Clear Non-Partisan explanation of the National Debt Crisis and Possible Solutions
maryreilly21219 October 2012
I would say the average American has positively no clue just how serious the debt crisis is. This documentary takes the highly complex problem of the US debt crisis and breaks it down in terms the average person can understand. Possible solutions are offered.

President Bill Clinton was interviewed extensively and made some surprising revelations about the debt and the solutions. While this important topic can be rather depressing at times, it ends on a positive, hopeful note.

You MUST see this BEFORE the election. The entire movie is available for free on youtube:

There is no documentary that better explains today's US Economic challenges than "Overdraft".

Although the economy, now in 2013, is better than it was when this doc was released- the underlying threat towards another financial crises still exists.

This documentary explains how the only way to address the debt is to make real sacrifices from both sides of the aisle. Simpson & Bowles gives an objective, rational road map to neutralizing the debt crises.

This doc is well shot, well edited, well produced and directed and expresses its issues clearly, intelligently & concisely. Don't believe the low star rating- anyone who rated this with only one or two stars likely works for big pharma.
