Good but not Great [7.5/10]

My Reaction / Review for Chucky Season 2 Episode 2: Episode 1 was good and I gave it a rating of 8/10. The pastor looks like Jake's father. Yup, its the same actor. Was it that hard to find another actor? There is something dark about this pastor, his expressions and the way he talks, i dont know. What is Chucky's plan now, is he gonna kill everyone in Incarnate Lord? That would be fun. Lexy's roommate has such an innocent vibe, I wonder if she has a darker side. Come on Chucky, get them! I think that Chucky taking photos is funny. Overall its a good episode but not great. My rating is 7.5/10.

Better than the first episode

The plot of the 2nd episode was really interesting and kinda better than episode 1. The storyline seems very well written and kinda mysterious. The characters are well-developed and likeable, as always and I'm glad there are some new characters. The new filming location of the TV show is nice (I really liked the Catholic school). Gladly, episode's 2 kills were done on-screen and they were very bloody. Also, season 2 is very funny, so far (Chucky is iconic, as always). So far, season 2 seems just nice, I think season 1 was kinda better. The ending scene of episode 2 was kinda unexpected and I can't wait to watch episode 3.

watch out jake chucky back

I liked tonight's episode a lot tonight , their was a scene that reminded me about a scene from bride of chucky, when Lexie was snorting coke and she was seening chucky and they both screamed , brought me back to when a guy was smoking weed and seening chucky crawl by. Cant wait to see glen and Glenda next week because i have a good feeling they dont remember that their mother is a killer and we will found out next week about it. I love how the represented the LGBT community where their car license's plate was they/them , because back in seed of chucky glen wanted to be boy and a girl so we get to see more of it next week.

Weaker episode, with a lot of callbacks.

Warning: Spoilers
This week started funny without even a Chucky appearance, the Catholic introduction tour for the main characters was great! The episode had a lot of callbacks to the early films, most noticeable to me when the Nun died of a heart attack like in Child's Play 3 when a general at the army camp died. Chucky's quip in Child's Play 3 was much funnier and we realise why later on in the episode. The Tilly Tiffany Dynamic satire, even using a clip from Liar Liar was another. The dialogue did set you up for future tropes which was nice, but the episode needed more (real) Chucky comedy. The cliffhanger included former character dolls from weak entries from the franchise which doesn't excite me. Don't mess this up, got a feeling they might after watching this episode.
