Burgeoning neophyte director/screenwriter Farrukh "Frack" Sheikh shines in his short film debut. The symphony of sound/music electrifies and places the viewer directly into the mind of its protagonist. From the verisimilitude to the on screen presence of the director himself (draws parallels of Alfred Hitcthock), the camera fully captures the emotion of its actors while allowing the viewer to fully appreciate the dynamics of its players. Considering this is his first film ever, Frack manages to produce brilliance in the short 19 minutes of film as he retells the tale of this San Antonio urban legend, of the school bus full of children who were all killed by a train. Farrukh beautifully takes you inside the mind of his protagonist "Ralph", who struggles to maintain a fine line between reality and fiction. The dialog mesmerizes while the acting captures the true spirit of this chilling and haunting tale. This is a magnificent achievement in directing/writing for Frack, and a must see short!

210 Killer review

Dialogue and subject matter very good. Is "fame" really worth destroying your life. Very well done and kudos to the cast. "210 Killer" shows the reality of how far one individual will let his dreams of making it big destroy all he has. Farrukh Sheikh did an excellent job writing, casting, and filming this short thriller. Enjoyed his work and look forward to seeing more. Cast did a tremendous job bringing each character to life. Their portrayal was very believable. Title even took the audience to the location of the urban legend. Drew Brown was very convincing as "Ralph Sin". Again, all involved did a fantastic job and look forward to seeing more of their work.

This is what can happen if you live a heedless life and you push someone too far.210 killer is well put together as it provides a weird, funny, scary, and surprising movie in 20 minutes.Faruk Sheikh's debut movie, which i don't see being his last, brings a creative plot alive on the big screen. The main character is Ralph, an American dreamer with ambitions to be a film director. As his life seems to be falling out of control Ralph decides to make a movie about an urban legend of spirits helping children off a train track.Ralph begins to lose sight of reality as his movie becomes his reality.Beware, there could be a "Ralph" any where among us.
