Great view of life in remote communities

I watched this with my kids, who were really engaged in this series. It's a great slice of life, we learnt a lot about indigenous culture and life in remote communities. Please renew for series 2, great series, great acting, keeping it real.

As the oldest living culture, Australia's indigenous people have so much to teach us about their life, Country and their symbiotic relationship with nature. I really got some insight into this throughout this series. A rare show with beautiful friendships too, no arguments or meanness. Well done to all involved. Now waiting to see where they end up in series 2.

A really wonderful series

Barrumbi Kids is a true joy to watch -- it has a sense of authenticity and energy to it which is so often missed in modern children's TV being produced in Australia.

The episodes are engaging and actually feature kids taking risks and having adventures together told from the kid's perspectives -- engaging with the environment around them. There is naturally the interaction between Australian Indigenous culture and white Australia but at no point does it feel preachy, rather just an authentic sharing of perspectives.

Tonally the show feels like the kind of kids aimed tales and programming of the 90s, when things weren't so sanitised, but all the while holding a fresh angle and aesthetics.

And it's all set to some beautiful scenery which makes you want to visit the Top End of Australia!

I really hope that there is a second series!

Recommend.

What a gem of a show

Discovered this show to watch with my grandchildren and they were totally engaged right from the start. Lots of wonderful adventures, life lessons and a lesson in indigenous culture along the way. The scenery and picture of remote outback living was almost envious in its simplicity . Beautifully made and such a good no nonsense yarn . The acting from the young children was joyful and they all did a great job. It has been a long while since a kids show has been so engaging and it's a must for adults to watch with them as there is lots of questions around the storyline's and positive enquiry and lots of questions around indigenous culture. Please keep producing stories like this for children , real life, real people and life learning. Season 2 please and more.

This is a really good show I don't have much to say though but I like it the rest of this is just because of required characters

That I don't have a clue about and the fact I have a good sense and a lot to say but it's not like I'm gonna get into a relationship or something and I'm just not really into that so I'm just not sure how I would be yyour friends with the characters or people who have the characters in their stories and stuff but I'm just kind a curious and kind a curious to see how you feel and if they are interested and what they like and what you guys think about them or if they.
