Mountain Men star Preston Roberts left fans of the show stunned when he passed away earlier this year. The Season 6 finale includes the last ever scenes he filmed for the History series. The fundraising page set up in the wake of Mountain Men star Preston Roberts’ death topped $110,000 last night as History aired the show’s two-hour season finale. Donations are still coming in for Mountain Men star Preston Roberts’ family — more than five weeks after he tragically passed away following a battle with cancer. More than $105,000 has so far been raised by the GoFundMe page set up in his honor by long-time friend and co-star Eustace Conway. The original goal was just $25,000. There will be no new episode of Mountain Men this week due to History airing the finale of its survival series Alone. Mountain Men usually airs at 9/8c every Thursday, but Alone will now air in its place followed by a ‘Tales From the Island’ special where the top three teams recall their time on the show. Mountain Men will return next week on Thursday, August 24, in its usual time-slot with an episode titled Waste Not, Want Not.
