Awesome Movie

It is what should be called a movie;awsome⭐⭐⭐no star cast no stardom scenes,simply beautiful,engaging,no overratedinternational/underworld story, but a story everyone can be connected through somewhere or by someone..its under rated i think no one will watch it in theatres but it will have a long life,worthy for a memmorable movie...dont get overhyped;its simple and awsome at the same time.

This movie characters are very amazing and natural acting. Shivraj is very talented actor and director are very clever too.

Perfect weekend family entertainer. The jokes are well timed and acting is just what you need. Lakshmi Ramesh debut is on point. Looking forward to many more.

Remarkable performances

Dhamaka starts off like a regular comedy film, but what it has in store is a rollercoaster of emotions, a slew of remarkable performances, well-written characters, and plenty of belly laughs. It deals with the themes of loneliness, misunderstandings, friendship, kinship, revelry, and death. Writer-director Lakshmi Ramesh extracts excellent performances from the likes of Shivraj KR pete, Priya J achar, and the rest of the ensemble. Special shout-outs go to these actors.

More than an artist Shivraj he is a very good realistic actor which will really be an asset for the Kannada movie industry...His comic timing, at the same time becoming emotional at respective point of time is commendable....

Overall a good movie with lots of fun

After a long time i heard burst of laughter continuously in theatres.. Shivraj just rocked it..every scene of him was hilarious. Even in comedy scenes when we feel a little emotional next scene just make us laugh..The new gen actors did pretty well, didnt expect such a smooth performance from them.

There is a slight lag during the start of second half which is forgivable. Overall a good movie with lots of fun suitable for viewing with family as well as friend. Its a must watch..Dont miss it in theatres. Thanks to entire team of d movie for such a fun packed entertainment... Must watch.

Watched a movie in theatre after a very long time and no regrets in choosing d movie..

Good Family Movie

From everything I heard about this film, what I expected from this film was a small comedy film that plays in the safe zone of a Kannada comedy. But I was wrong. Even though it does what the best of Kannada film does, which is giving a class film with emotions that will make you so attached to it and at least at one point makes your eyes wet, this film does that with a vision and finesse that is somewhat still fresh.

From the beginning itself, it started showing a bit of comedy and a bit of tragedy without belittling each other's presence. From there to the various situations created, the slow reveal through the 150 minutes runtime to that beautiful ending, everything worked brilliantly. The ensemble cast was brilliant among which at least three of them brought out their best performances yet and each and everyone else fit perfectly in the film. Shivraj was the one that impressed me the most being able to make me easily hate him and within seconds making me cry for him.

The finesse with which the movie changes from a party comedy to family drama and back is commendable. The on-point cinematography and editing along with the rest of what I mentioned before is just proof that debutant director Lakshmi Ramesh knows exactly what and how to direct his story. This is one of the best directorial debuts in Kannada in recent times and probably one of the best comedies, not just in Kannada, of 2022.

Overall, the film is a fun ride

It's been a long time since a really fun movie has been released in Kannada. Dont expect a very comical version of our past Sandalwood movies. This is actually a very simple plot with a lot of innocence. Starting to end the movie especiallyShivraj has not failed to impress. Other co actors have done an amazing performance. Shivraj KR pete especially, the character has been very well portrayed. The performance of Priya was also amazing. Screenplay and Direction was absolutely amazing. Overall, the film is a fun ride, guaranteed that it would be worth the time and money. Overall, a very strange story set up, but developed it brilliantly to a 2hr movie. Worth watching 'dhamaka'

Literally had zero expectations. But Dhamaka was the biggest surprise of the year. It s been a while since I have come out of a theatre fully satisfied and Dhamaka was definitely that. A movie that deserves to be watched in theatres with a group of friends or even family. And I was really waiting for a movie like this, to watch in theater. After a long time i heard burst of laughter continuously in theatres.. Its Takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Outstanding performance by familiar and unfamiliar faces. Ends in a good note. A perfect family movie. Shivraj just rocked it.. Really Good entertainer. Go for it !

I would only recommend this film to a Comedy Lover.

Ar glorified teens comedy movie. The film is particularly targetting the comedy lovers obviously cause of the class comedies you get at that age apart from that this one lacks a captivating story and story telling is pretty much like an excited teen on sugar rush or something. The songs seem to be well mediocre and trash af. Good casting Shivraj K R pete, Priya J ajar acted very well. Fans who keep saying this has gor awesome screenplay and the movie has pays respect to its name are simpletons who has got no exposure on world cinema. I would only recommend this film to a Comedy Lover. Songs and Cinematography is very Appreciable.

Happy ending feel good drama

Heartouching movie. Mixture of laughter and fun. Moreover upholds much values. An extremely feel good movie...Except the lag felt at certain instances everything was nice... It's a movie to be watched peacefully and being ready to laugh...casting is perfect and each have done their part very well. A normal Happy ending feelgood drama👍. Director knows how to entertain viewers .. Every sequence in this filim awesome.. Don't miss this movie, No sooper stars no haipe no add promotion but this movie will run everyday housefull...The story takes about 15-20minute to set in with the characters and locations. Once that is done, the movie goes on a laugh riot. You will be surprised how your own emotions play along the movie.

Technical department have done their job well and story and screenplay department have made those efforts resulting into a peak level. I really appreciate the writers of this film are. It is not just a usual comedy thriller with a many of emotional contents. I am very satisfied with this film. I would suggest you to go for Dhamakka. It is a brilliant film with a brilliant story from a talented director. This film will be Big success in the coming days just like commercial entertainers. The performance of whole cast was simply superb. Given the brilliant filmmaking & non-linear narrative trick, it could have been a far better entertainer.

It's so amazing and refreshing

It's so amazing and refreshing to see Kannada movies transcending new heights by experimenting in different genres of movies. In a time where Hindi movies are making utter trash, and Tamil is churning out good movies, but with the same old themes - village, caste, politics etc., its amazing that the Kannada industry changing gears. This is such an attempt, which works very well. Funny from start to finish with good elements of emotions thrown in. All the actors have done well, be it comedy or the emotional scenes. Well written, well executed, and enjoyable movie. Looking forward to such superb comedy movies again in Kannada. Thanks to Lakshmi ramesh and Shivraj for breaking the mould.
