Shadowed.

After seeing the excellent Return to Sender (2021-also reviewed) I decided to continue viewing the shorts at the Soho Horror Film Festival,by discovering if I'm shadowbanned.

Note: Review contains some plot details.

View on the film:

Only having online chat and viewers keeping her company in the car,Fiona Bergin gives a slower sinking into terror performance as Fiona, who initially views the strange happenings with curiosity, that Bergin grinds down with each wrong-turn Fiona takes.

Driving into his film making writing/directing debut, Shane W. Brennan closely works with cinematographer David Christopher Lynch in loading a gloriously unsettling atmosphere, where still wide-shots are stylishly used to view Fiona from the outside of the car, which Brennan surrounds with increasingly eerie sounds in the background.

Winding the windows down to show the online view count ratchet up with each increasingly horrible event, the screenplay by Brennan wonderfully follows Fiona going from casually chatting to followers on her phone, to listening for the smallest sound from outside the car, which shatters through any perception Fiona may have of the car offering safety from the outside,as her channels dies with a shadowban.
