- Damaged follows the story of Brendan (Nicholas Burton) a teenager serving his last couple of months in an Australian prison. Brendan now 17 who has been locked up for 4 years after committing a crime when he was a young boy is forced to evaluate his purpose inside the walls and the possibility of getting out when he meets Alice Colman (Kylie Watson) his new custodial correctional officer. While thinking he doesn't have a chance at parole, his mind is swayed when he meets and befriends his new cell mate, Umer (Kabir Singh) who he helps come to terms with his own mistakes and in turn Brendan free's his own mind in that having hope can set you free.

We are told that experience is acquired by mistakes, but how many mistakes can we make before it's too late to learn from them. This fictional story is inspired from true events and real life experiences. As a result, the creators of DAMAGED have developed an emotional Australian drama.
