Guys, I am really worn out from all this stuff. I saw this episode back in March (?) when it was released in other countries and got it via Google Drive, and my god is it a trainwreck even months later. Fashion No Show (if you haven't already seen my full season 6 ranking), is one of the worst episodes in the seasons when shown next to others such as Musical Chairs and Puns and Buns. Doom Service is very similar when it comes to quality and that is certainly not a good thing.
I have been waiting to rant on Fashion No Show since the moment I saw it. This episode is truly atrocious (coming from someone who thinks Leni is a good character). First of all, this episode has two big problems. Carlota is out of character and this episode is so darn obvious. This is another one of those "sabotage" episodes (which I'm not looking forward to in season 7), but this one has one a difference from the others in this series... it has nothing else going for it.
Carlota is a jerk to Leni in this episode. She's happy because she's working with Mariella and Carlota just "can't take it" (plus ideas put in her head by Carl) just shows how little convincing she needs to ruin her friend's new job in the city.
For the actual sabotage part, it's sort of like Puns and Buns + April Fools Rules with the whole guiding her to a "specific location" mumbo jumbo that went on. Leni is not that airheaded anymore, stop taking advantage of her!
Also, I have a minor issue in the jokes. The jokes with the elephant were awful and every other comedic attempt flopped on its face, I literally just needed an excuse to bring up how much I hate the jokes with that dressed-up Dumbo.
There is seriously nothing redeemable about this episode, I can't think of a single good thing about it, even after watching it multiple times for this review. 1/10.
Doom Service on the other hand, is a very boring episode. There's not a whole lot I can say about it. It feels like a poor copy of season 2's Suite and Sour with a little bit of High Crimes mixed in, as we get a return of Vic the scumbag and his lizard I don't care to remember the name of.
Pretty much the entire episode, the Louds just get the worst service, scammed, and a ton of other bull they don't deserve (in other episodes they would, but they did nothing here. Maybe being idiots counts?).
The ending is very predictable, and we should all know this isn't going to be the last of Vic, they've already used him too much to get rid of him now... 2/10.
Sorry this part is short, I'm kinda burnt out from exams (I'll be out of school after next week). Scores average to a 1.5/10, rounded up to 2. I'll review The Hurt Lockers/Love Stinks plus the other new episodes coming out. Mind you, Lockers and Love weren't that impressive either...
