Sex & Nudity

  • This film contains partial female nudity and full-frontal male nudity. It contains two graphic depictions of a killer having sex with severed heads and offscreen incestuous rape between a son and mother (audible but not seen).

Violence & Gore

  • This film contains excessive violence and gore, including multiple graphic murders and dismemberment, as well as offscreen (audible) murders. Most of the violence is witnessed by a child character and at one point a child character is bound and gagged. Other points of violence and gore include an assault with a shovel to the head, vomiting, a killer bathing in blood (and then having vigorous sex with a severed head), and intense physical violence among family members (child abuse and offscreen rape).

Profanity

  • This film contains a great deal of profanity, including many instances where profane words are said by minors.
  • The film contains themes of racism and homophobia, multiple uses of the words faggot and nigger.

Violence & Gore

  • Most of the violent content doesn't occur until the 2nd half of the film. Then it's extremely graphic and gory.
  • There is a shot in the movie of a boy tied to his bed, multiple gruesome closeups of mutilated body parts are shown, the camera reveals that parts of his dismembered parents (who've been chopped up into quite a few pieces) are stacked all around him and on a pile on top of him, and his parent's bloody severed heads (their eyes are also gouged out) have been propped up on either side of his head (the boy is alive).

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • As the film centers around a young boy and his serial killer brother. The protagonist boy is constantly worried that his brother might kill him. The third act of the movie puts him through horrific and emotional ordeals.
