Should have been great ...
Spy-115 March 2023
... but is just above average. The premise is interesting. A Sonderlage (special situation) occurs. A high ranking female police officer takes charge. And gets mobbed, hindered and sabotaged by (mostly) male colleagues. However, action is slow moving and implausible. The control room scenes are certainly more realistic than those in a Jason Bourne movie, but also less than exciting. The system's resistance against the protagonist is so powerful that one wonders, how she could rise as high as she did. Of course, she's good. But in reality, that does not always help. Most characters are clichéd. Henny Reents is top notch and makes this worth watching. Özgür Karadeniz and Zoë Valks are only allowed to give glimpses into their potentially interesting characters. The ratings of Sonderlage were disappointing. So this will probably be axed after two episodes. A shame, because it could still be great.

Good camera and look - the rest is disappointing

After a promising start the story and acting turnen to an annoying and predictable film. It is full of stereotypes that let's me facepalm. The script is so old-fashioned.

The actors make me feel that they do not like their job, the figures are unbelievable.

The look of the film is nice, on the other hand. But also here: I really doubt we have a headquarter that looks like this one.

The figures in the film do not touch me (except one, a female police officer).

Shallow.

I really cannot recommend this movie. The is no significant positive aspect.

This is a production for TV, so even if you can watch it for free: avoid it.
