A good fun episode with a different feel
nicolasmattick18 October 2022
This is an episode those goes off on a bit of a tangent, a bit of a character development episode through a standalone story line.

Ric'hard's nephew has sickle cell and needs an urgent bone marrow transplant. There's a few cul de sacs that they chase down to no avail and a few dark places on the web.

Some of the plots do require a brief suspension of reality and the time elapsed makes no sense, but it's fast paced, fun and moves the character relationships along for the rest of the season.

It's a break from the main story arc of the seemingly endless protests and battles in previous episodes.

The End of a Saturday

Warning: Spoilers
This is exactly the kind of episode that The Good Wife and The Good Fight have always excelled at. All of the characters in the mix, a big case or situation and every single thing being on the line. This showed the intensity and the ridiculous legal hurdles that plague our society, so much so that even lawyers tend to object to the insanity.

You can disagree with the politics of the show (nothing new there) and still appreciate it from an entertainment point of view. This was one of the more fun and clever episodes we have gotten from The Good Fight in a long time and the high score is more than justified.

And just like splat

Warning: Spoilers
And just like splat, yep splat, because the splat that Diana shockingly witnessed at the end of The End of Saturday was kind of the slap (or splat) in the face that the writers needed to remind us that The Good Fight ain't what it used to be.

I've been a fan of The Good Fight from the start, not having watched The Good Wife so much. It's amazing (and not in a really good way) seeing the evolution of The Good Fight from the first season to its sixth and final season. I must admit, season five was very woeful with the faux judge played by Mandy Patinkin, and season six tries to bring things back on track. Or does it?

Here the action is fast-paced and I do want to know of the origin of the bub stickers on elevator ceiling. The emergency court hearing on the steps of the judge's house with clowns, bubbles and a grandchild's birthday party was a sight to behold.

Carmen's girlfriend is a doppelganger for Marissa.

That ending? What the hell!? You warn about brain matter but not warning about that? What the f. Is wrong with you! Overall it was an excellent episode but that ending took away your nine stars, you heard it right 9 of your stars just gone. This season started with hallucinations, turned into crypto, suing fetuses and now peoples brain and guts. What the actual f. Unwatchable, unbearable, this is not the real world, the real world doesn't have problems like that. If you are shooting some sci-fi, parallel universe nonsense you should let people know. Also enough with the praying bs. Religion never solved any problems. Check history.
