This film had a profound effect on my decision to go through with ibogaine treatment. It was one of those movies where I constantly wanted to look away but found myself captured by the suffering of the people in the film. My life was also one of heroin and methadone addiction. The fact that he was brave enough to put his story out for the entire world to review showed me that i should not be ashamed for what "we" have been through. It amazes me that in America this medicine will never be legalized for treatment because of drug addiction and bureaucratic garbage. This "drug" can save lives and more people need to know about this medicine. i never even heard of ibogaine and i have been addicted to drugs since I took my first hit! I could have taken this medicine when i was 19 and spared myself a decade of suffering. While Americans are pupping more pharmacological crap down there throats then ever before and the return of heroin to ever city in the states I want to help spread the word like David Graham Scott has through this powerful film.
