- The game revolves around fighting in some intense combat moments. Swords, guns and other weapons are often used. Blood is sometimes shown in cutscene and during fights.
Profanity

- Mild profanity. Some uses of "sh*t", "damn" and the like. Nothing major and not used often.
- The language is toned down from Final Fantasy VII Remake, but still present, and still moderate. Overall expect the same level of language, but less of it.

- The themes and general plot surrounding Sephiroth could be scary for younger audiences. And even older audiences may find Sephiroth a bit scary and unsettling. Music adds to the intensity and scare factor surrounding him.
- Some monsters and fights could be considered pretty intense and frightening for some players.

Sex & Nudity
- Aerith, Tifa and Yuffie can wear skimpy swimsuits at one point. This is during a beach scene but plenty of skin is shown off. Cloud is also seen wearing just swim trunks.
- Cloud and Tifa kiss; but only if you develop a relationship with her enough to go on a date to the Gold Saucer.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The infamous scene from the original game where Sephiroth kills Aerith takes place in the final chapter. The scene is likely to upset some players.
