Waiting For A Rich Man To Die
The copy of this episode in Andre De La Varre's long-running SCREEN TRAVELER series of travelogues was missing its credits. It began in mid-discussion of Balinese death rites, noting that as Hindus, they need to be burned so their souls can leave them behind; but bonfires are expensive, so they pile the corpses of the poorer citizens in graves until a rich man dies, and then they dig them up and everyone gets cremated.
That's fairly typical of De La Varre's films, in which we see how ancient traditions cope in a practical world. There are also Balinese dancers and gamelon players, and the usual interesting shots of architecture.
