Exclusive: Screen Ireland has hired producer Keith Potter as its new head of feature film.
Potter will take office in October 2023, based out of Dublin. As part of the role, he will co-lead the production and development department alongside the head of television to develop feature film policy and strategy. He will also assess individual project readiness from a creative and financial perspective and support Irish writers, producers, and directors across this process.
As head of features, Potter will also be responsible for the oversight and strategic management of the Screen Ireland feature film slate, from development through production and exploitation, working closely with Screen Ireland’s Head of Distribution and Head of Marketing. The role will also see him aim to nurture relationships with financiers, broadcasters, co-production partners, sales agents, and streaming platforms who invest in Irish talent and Irish film.
