A story about a man, in a city, alone..
starimomak17 July 2016
This film reminded me of a cult classic "La notte" by Antonioni. "Vlaznost", like "La notte", portrays a high class woman that has lost her love for her husband and is seeking escape from him. But this film, on the other hand, focuses on the husband. We don't see where the wife goes, but it does not matter.

This is a story about a man, in a city, alone.

Does this gives him freedom?

It tells the universal story about capitalism, alienation, patriarchy, and false illusions about family. All through a dreamy like manner by using dissolve transitions, relative slow pace, and cuts to a car POV at a random highway at night, that keeps going and going... Not sure if the latter makes sense but you'll see. The film at moments gives out a poetic vibe, which suits it very nicely.

Its a good film from a country that does not often shine on the map in a film sense, and that's why it deserves to be viewed.

It's worth it.

Welcome to 2 hours of wasted lifetime
stkosijer4 April 2020
Nothing to add. The movie is, simply put, extremely boring and without any point or actual subject what so ever. Woah.. I'm just sad I didn't walk away from it and went to sleep earlier.

I gave two stars just because of Timotijevic and his performance in this movie. I'm sad to see him in such a lame movie, but I hope he will get more chances based on this showcase.

Good luck guys, take care :)

Waste of time....

Sadly, this movie is filmed in my country. Looks like some kind of "artistic attempt" which failed in so many aspects. Script is so thin with no real idea where it is going, story is is non existent and confusing with no real questions nor answers. Photography is intentionally dark and depressing... Directing is, lets just say odd, sex scenes are obviously aimed to shock and totally unnecessary (old cliché)

One of those movies which make you ask yourself "who ...... gave money to film this movie?" and "how did we ended watching this?" I cant imagine someone actually going to the theater watching this.

Great movie, so ahead of it's time

Warning: Spoilers
If you watched Gone Girl and actually understood it, then this is the movie for you.

Just like in Gone Girl, the plot point is Mina, well educated and successful woman (and wife) that goes missing one day. But unlike with Gone Girl, we are not led trough this intricate and elaborate path of murder and revenge. No, and here lies the brilliance of this movie, we are led down the path of absurdity and meaningless of societies perception of what it means to be successful, have family, status and power.

Mina, just like character of Amy in Gone Girl, has a different persona for every occasion. And to all people around Milan, her husband, she is this cool, elegant, exquisite super woman. They constantly ask about her, they comment his looks and behavior based on what she would think; and what her reaction would be. We see him completely lost and lacking without her.

So, he invents lies and excuses for her absence. And when she comes back, he doesn't even dare to ask her where she was.

And this is why this movie is so ahead of it's time. As the times are becoming more and more progressive, men will have to question their roles and place in the world more and more often. And if anything, this movie shows us that men are not ready to deal with that.

We see that Milan, has no life, no friends and no family without his wife. Once she's gone, he struggles to find himself. He hides the fact that he's wife is missing. He is afraid to report it to the police. He is free, but unable to cope with his freedom, so he regresses to decadency and self destruction.

Excellent movie, but the theme and the subject matter is deep. Be aware. Not for easy viewing.

Bland and bleak
ColoradoSTH16 April 2016
There are couple of possible aspects of this movie (family drama, alienation, love story) but unfortunately neither of them work very well. Main story is about young and successful manager coping with disappearance of his wife. Main character is distant and alienated from both the world and people in his life but also, unfortunately from viewers. Throughout movie I was unable to relate to his story or feel anything at all. Other characters and their stories are cliché at best or completely unbelievable, at worst. It is a very slow move but one that really goes nowhere, with no plot worth mentioning and no characters worth caring for.

An interpretation (read after watching)
sobot7 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Petar is a hard-working guy. Being also unscrupulous at his job, he managed to climb high. His private lifestyle is hedonistic. He takes what we desires, not caring a bit about others. He is not evil, just cold. One day his wife Mina disappears. I believe this should not be understood literally. Actually, they lost contact, she is out of his reach. His concern is not to find her, but to maintain the appearance of his perfect life. (Remember the guy he drives home from party, who believes that Petar has not a problem in life.) But something outside bothers him. It is presented as humidity. He runs around (like the dog on a video he watches) but can not shake the feeling that something is missing. Like in the song: Something's happening here, but you don't know what it is... do you, Mr. Djokic? Some people consider the bed scene at the beginning unnecessary. I think is shows us the moment when Mina realized what she is missing in her life with Petar. Her lover whispers poetry in her ear and she repeats. Affection, tenderness, togetherness. Of course, I may be wrong with most of this. Nevertheless, a movie that makes one think and leaves room for interpretations certainly deserves to be better rated than it it at the moment.

Pointless "Artistic" Wanna-Be
luka-kurjacki15 January 2021
A typical long-shot "author film" without any important story that drags you in to watch. Although the main actor seems great, there is not a single developed character neither in the script nor in the directing. I recommend not to waste time on this.

So bad!
rinakarinaka26 January 2021
This film is an insult to to viewers. So vain, so hollow, so bad. I wish the director is punished to watch this film at least twice every day for the next ten years.

About movie!!!
editaara29 October 2018
I have to say that Milos played magically, and if Mina is the main theme, I would say that Milos pulled out an average with his good role and acting. I must say that some frames are too long, and some even boring. The fact is that Mina disappeared, but the end could have a clearer conclusion. Is it up to us to consider whether he contributed to a bad marriage or she? At first, he did not seem insincere and she acted as a victim, in fact, he was eager for her attention, and realized that he had lost her. The consistency is "Already seen"
