This story was around 2 hours yet the world building, character development and cool atmosphere set the stage for a story which felt like it was 10 hours (in a good way). The amount they did with so little time was amazing and the story really was a unexpected surprise. I went in knowing nothing, and left with this cool story about the apocalypse and escapism. The show came out in 2003 but this was even a tad bit dated for then and the subbing was passible at best but I felt the story as so good that it was worth overlooking. Overall I really enjoyed the story. It was sad yet hopefully and though I don't think they tied every lose end, the story was good enough for me not to feel they had to.
