When Linden tells the searchers they went the wrong way she says that the dogs would have lost the scent when they reached the water and the handler agrees. It is a myth that water makes the dogs lose the scent of a person they are tracking. It actually amplifies the scent.
Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Holder gets past airport security to meet Linden at the gate, but could not have been allowed past security without a boarding pass, even as law enforcement. He could, however, have purchased a ticket on any itinerary and been issued a boarding pass that way.
When Holder is raising up from his hospital bed to talk to his nephew, you can see the plastic outline of the temporary tattoo on his chest.
(at around 12mins) Darren Richmond says, "...but only five days before the election," but his lips say "four".
In the final shot, Linden's car is seen driving into downtown Seattle via the West Seattle Bridge. This bridge connects Seattle to West Seattle, and if they were driving back from the airport would not be on this bridge unless they'd taken an egregious wrong turn. The bridge runs east-west and SeaTac Airport is 20 miles directly south of Seattle, so when Linden looks out the drivers side window at an ascending airplane, she is looking north, away from the airport.
