"Another Angle" is a Nollywood rollercoaster of revenge and tangled relationships. The story kicks off with Shirley, played by Amaka Obi, being dramatically ejected from Desmond's life. Back at home, she confides in her friend Brenda, portrayed by Nancy Isime, about Desmond's mistreatment and her thirst for revenge. The two hatch a plan: Brenda will make Desmond fall for her, only to break his heart later. But, as with any good Nollywood tale, there's a twist. Early into their scheme, Brenda discovers that Desmond's father is none other than her "Zaddy," the sugar daddy who supported her through school. Meanwhile, Desmond, played by Charles Billion, is a notorious womanizer who manipulates his company's hiring process to be surrounded by attractive women. With these intriguing subplots, the movie weaves a web of revenge, desire, and unexpected connections. Brenda's feelings for Desmond grow genuine, Shirley urges her to see the scheme through, and Desmond ultimately faces his comeuppance. However, Brenda's own resolution leaves a bittersweet taste, as father and son discover they've been involved with the same woman. Meanwhile, Shirley's subplot takes an unexpected turn toward a new romance, while Brenda is left grappling with her choices. "Another Angle" delivers an engaging story, but it could have benefited from a more satisfying ending.
