House of Hope is a well written and well acted short film about two women, Kim and Desiree who came from an abused childhood, which led them to a life of drug addiction. They were about to lose everything, their homes, children and their freedom. They were faced with the decision to get help or go to jail. Fortunately they chose to get help. They entered The House of Hope for intensive and difficult rehabilitation training. This helped them to turn their lives around and come back from the depths of despair and become women who contribute to society. They deserve a great deal of credit and this film portrays their struggle beautifully. I feel it should be recognized for its excellence.
