Really Like Dylan McDeremott

Warning: Spoilers
His character is very quick thinking and so far he seems more married to his job unlike Jess who had a daughter and wished he would had gone out on better terms IMHO.

Well two vets are killed and the person doing it is a terrorist and not the US translator who was promised like a green card to remain in the USA but that promise sadly was not kept.

Still really do not like it when people believe in siding with the wrong person only to have their lives cut short due to it.

As both men who served their country with honor only to lose their lives in their own home country with tragic and violent consequences.

One vet was a journalist who was sent to interview and the other wanted to help out at risk youth there.

Glad they took the villains of the week out. Where is Roxy Sternberg? Miss her!

Worst kiwi accent

Warning: Spoilers
The main story was good. But the final scene with Hanas brother... dude has the worst kiwi accent I've ever heard. Keisha Castle-Hughes is legit an excellent kiwi actress, surely there was at least one kiwi or even ozzy actor that could have played the part.

Terrible Accent

This dude trying to speak with a kiwi accent is so bad. Sounds like a cross between Canadian and Aussie accents. Plenty of actors who are actually from NZ.

I have one word for you

Boooorrrring!!! McDermott is not a lead actor. He is unbelievable and quirky. The storyline could have been good but he just brought it down. You could have tried to play out why other countries ignorantly dislike America.

The disappointment continues

Warning: Spoilers
The FBI believes it is up against a disgruntled former Afghan translator who worked with the US Army but was never granted asylum as he was promised. However, the bad guy is actually a Taliban member. So why does Army Veteran Joseph Haas side with the bad guy even after realizing he is not the translator? It appeared that Haas knew the translator during his tour but yet he stumbles upon the fact that the terrorist he is working with is not the translator. So, Haas is a moron? Haas trained Afghan police and his only issue was those who supported troops being pulled out of the country. Who the hell thought this was a good storyline? Even if Haas sympathizes with the bad guy, I don't think he would be OK with him killing two fellow Army veterans! Plus, Haas' wife really has no clue how radical her husband has become? I almost stopped the episode and deleted it from my DVR when Dylan McDermott's character makes more than one reference to Bruce Springsteen. It was a strange and useless scene. This is a good example that there is no quality control in the writer's rooms at CBS. The final showdown is not believable. There is a serious lack of a response when the armed drone starts raining down automatic gunfire. Taking out Haas doesn't work. Of course, it comes down to McDermott's character, who is seemingly is targeted as the drone cannot be controlled. Taking out the main bad guy was decent but overall this showdown didn't work. The subplot involving Hana's birth mother is interesting and the final scene with her half-brother was the lone highlight of the episode. All three FBI shows should be easily outshining all other crime dramas currently on TV but they are not.
