Learn more- With the leader board just about as close as it's ever been, the suspense builds as Tuesday's "Dancing with the Stars" results show kicks off with some quick results.
To the results: The top three couples from Monday night are called out first. Chelsea & Mark learn their still in jeopardy while Hines & Kym and Ralph & Karina learn they are safe.
Play it again...: Moments after getting the dreaded red light of doom cast upon them, head judge Len Goodman asks Chelsea & Mark to do an encore performance of their routine -- despite the fact that Len didn't think it honored the 300-year-old history of the Viennese waltz.
Be our guest: After Len puts on some Patton-themed call to arms (or legs?) as a militaristic general of dance in an odd featurette, Oscar and Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson hits the stage -- and just about every other corner of the studio -- to perform her new song, "Don't Look Down." She later returned to do a snazzy rendition of "Feeling Good" that gave her a chance to show off her chops and show off that massive 46-piece orchestra the show hired for Classical Week.
A notable Macy's Stars of Dance performance this week called upon the classic "Swan Lake."
Back to the results: Chris & Cheryl are the next couple to learn they're safe, followed by Romeo & Chelsie. Petra & Dmitry, however, are still in jeopardy.
In one bit of notable backstage commentary, Kendra blames her lackluster performance Monday night on "hormones," which at least helps explain why she clearly didn't seem to care and landed on the bottom of the leader board. Later, we see Louis telling Kendra she embarrassed him by saying she doesn't care about elegance. She cries.
FInally, the next couple safe is Kirstie & Maks. Also safe are Kendra & Louis, leaving Sugar Ray & Anna in danger of a knockout.
With the final three jeopardized couples in place, we learn that Petra & Dmitry are safe.
Now it's down to Chelsea & Mark, who topped the leader board Monday night, and Sugar Ray & Anna, who were second from the bottom.
The third couple going home is ... Sugar Ray & Anna.
