I am so embarrassed for the caste. They make up story lines that are super embarrassing and hard to watch. I wish this was a straightforward show about the story of the clients.it's painful to get through all the fake employee shenanigans to get to the real stories.

How did this get on air?

The one partner is so over weight and looks really strange. It's again hard to watch.... Especially when the first episode was about exercising and losing weight. The other associates are super skinny and one is super fit.ie the one who wants everyone to exercise ...

The office..if that's there office is aesthetically beautiful.

So strange.

Really changed our lives

My husband and I really got into it with our family. It's one of our favorites, we binge watched this. But there's only one season.

This show, Secrets lies and DNA ties unfortunately doesn't show their full potential on this show of the conversations had behind the scenes.

We would like to see more of that. Ali and Carla were angels sent from another place. What I like is that, They aren't just any dna testing company, they actually care about their clients and what happens to them and are real people. Thank you for that. For making us feel heard and cared for during the process.

Recently, They really helped our family bridge the gap between unknown family members. They helped my cousin build a relationship with her mom after being adopted and never knowing her. If it wasn't for them and their fortitude, they would not have the strong family bond we all share now, but also giving us the courage to forge that relationship and reach out to get the test done .

Keep up the good work, what you are doing changes lives for the better.

I know my cousin would be interested in coming on your show.

Don't waste your time

Actors are awful. Terrible writing. Long drawn out non-stories. The only reason people would participate in this show is for a paycheck. Fake drama; what a bunch of nonsense. Thankful I was able to fast forward through this hooey. I would have given zero stars but didn't have that option. In this day and age with dna testing companies like Ancestry there is no reason anyone would need this crew. Search the internet, find the people you're looking for some other way. Don't embarrass yourself by going on this show. Oh and the Mom ignoring her daughter? What teenager would put up with that drama queen? Bottom line forget this show. There is no real story there.

I loved this show!

I haven't seen anything quite like it, I thought the stories were really touching and I loved learning about the clients stories AND how it affected their family & friends including all the emotions that arise. I really enjoyed how it took us through the full story and I definitely feel like it added to the reveal of the tests, I felt like I was there with them watching it!

I also have to add, I loved the boss ladies, it really added to the vibe of the show. The energy and personality really added to it and added to my enjoyment of the show!

I really hope to see another season 👍🏻

They really seem unprofessional. You don't go to professional DNA services to have them cold call potential relatives and just beg "Please, please, please" to get them to talk. The client could do that themselves.

And the awkward, unbelievable fake drama with the staff is 100% a waste of audience time.

I just have no idea what these people do that the clients can't do through self DNA testing sites. Instead of the patronizing fake situations threaded into the client stories they could be explaining part of their process that makes their service valuable and not some way of scamming people to pay extra for things they can do themselves.

Giving 4 stars for the client stories with are the only interesting part of this show.

I really enjoyed watching the show, and I like the cast! I excited to see season 2. I really find stories with people connecting to lost relatives to be very emotional. There was episodes that really pull at the heart strings. I feel I'd like to see less of the helpers , and more surrounding the owners of the DNA company. To much focus on the receptionist, and what antics they are up too. I like see more of the woman. They really didn't give the owners much time to develop who they are and what drives them as they are uncovering what the backstory of their clients are! I'm here for this show, and I think as it goes on it will just get better and better!

Cliche, no class!

I'm in the midst of watching season 1's first episode and about to roll my eyes out of my head. The best I can say is "oh cheesy! Please!" It is so cliche! The token gay person at reception...I mean absolutely flaming gay, which is ok but it's just way too put on! The other people, ahem, "staff members" are also caricatures. Then we get to the stories of the episode, and I keep asking what the...?! First of all, a man wants to find out who his relieves are via his half sisters DNA, BUT THEY DONT EXPLAIN WHY HE THINKS SHE IS HIS HALF SISTER!!! Ok, calm down. It makes no sense unless the viewer knows that.

Then a loser looking guy wants to know if his gf is cheating. I said please, PLEASE do NOT bring in her dirty underwear. Of course he did! He sobs a little and says "It's kind of embarrassing but I brought in her underwear!" No. It's not embarrassing dude, it's DISGUSTING! The staff member placates him with a too charming smile, a touch on the arm, and cheerful assurance that "we get a LOT of underwear here!" I'm feeling sick. I did NOT need to know that. Everyone is over acting, showboating, and making little sense.

To summarize: Low budget show.

Great idea. Really BAD execution.

Insults the intelligence of its viewers.

Cringe. Eye roll. Stomach ache.

This is the fakest DNA show I've ever seen. The clients seem like they could be real, I guess, but the staff are definitely not. I'm not sure what Tunde's job is even supposed to be. Envelope passer, maybe? The first episode has some dude bringing in his girlfriends dirty underwear to be tested, even though he claims he's really embarrassed about it and doesn't want anyone to know. Yeah, that's why you're doing it on tv, buddy. The inbetween scenes are just lame. Tunde trying to make everyone work out. The super fake lost dna sample. I am just fast forwarding through them now. All in all, not worth the time.

The good reviews must be from the cast or the directors. Believe the bad reviews! They should have never produced more than one episode of this mess. It is an interesting idea for a show but the result is a disaster.

None of the cast is good in front of the camera. Ali is fake. Mitch is trying too hard to put on a "look at me" act. Carla's lips are so distracting I can't even pay attention to what she says. The cast's acting about the exercise was so bad it should have been edited out.

I'm really trying to find something good about this show but it's impossible. The results presentation is uncomfortable and Ali acts like she has never given ppl their results before.

If you choose to watch this after reading the reviews, just remember I told you so.
