New Jersey state troopers hold the center of interest in this reproduction of an automobile accident in which a man is killed and a drunken driver is wrongly accused of manslaughter. The real culprit is detected through expert laboratory work which is most interestingly shown. Although the whole incident was, of course, staged, it has a great air of realism. The point is made that the police act to protect the public, not simply to work for prosecutions.
