Michael Portillo is a delight as he travels through Scotland. This was several years before the Scottish independence referendum so anyway we got to see amazing greenery, viaducts and also Harry Potter references of course. I wonder how Michael manages ticketless passengers who refuse to give up their seats? Some conductors are a bit passive especially if lager louts cement themselves to their seats if you know what I mean, intimidating anyone in their sight.
