When WWE announced that the usual Elimination Chamber PPV that was due to be held in February was being replaced by a new contest called Fast Lane, there was speculation that the WWE event with the most impressive stage set by far was destined for the scrap heap. It was a huge surprise then when it was announced on the 11th May edition of Raw that Elimination Chamber would be returning exclusively on the WWE Network at the end of the month.
Not only that, WWE made history in announcing that Elimination Chamber 2015 would be hosting the first ever tag team bout in the fearsome structure, and making it for the WWE Tag Team Championship at that. Pitting The New Day versus Cesaro & Tyson Kidd versus Prime Time Players versus Los Matadores versus Lucha Dragons versus The Ascension, this ground breaking match was given sufficient time to breathe and delivered magnificently.

Despite being broadcast exclusively on the WWE Network in a good portion of the world, Elimination Chamber didn’t hold back or feel like another episode of “Sunday Night Raw”, as the smarks love to put it.
It was more satisfying than the last few pay-per-view events, even if the Ic Title Elimination Chamber match was a colossal let-down and the show’s final tease was sure to rub plenty of fans up the wrong way.
Still, the tag team Chamber match was a blast, as was the epic showdown between John Cena and Kevin Owens. As with any WWE show, there was plenty of added value for fans who kept their eyes peeled rather than glued completely to their Twitter feed.
From ridiculous signs to clever call-backs to classic wrestlers and hints you might’ve missed during a bathroom break or beer run, these 16 easter eggs, whether hilarious,...

This year’s edition of WWE Elimination Chamber was a show that appeared out of nowhere, but undoubtedly left its mark on the landscape of WWE. After two Elimination Chamber contests, where we saw a new Intercontinental Champion crowned, and tag teams enter the hellish structure for the first time, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose layed it on the line for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, the main roster debut of Kevin Owens against John Cena was something to behold and re-watch until the WWE Network ceases to exist. As Wrestlemania season fades to the background, WWE has clearly opened up its plan for the summer with little hesitation.
Furthermore, with Money in The Bank on June 14th, this show gave us a preview of what to look for on that day, as well as its own moments to write about at length. As a show that only featured 6 matches,...

The WWE Elimination Chamber three hour WWE Network special took place on Sunday in Corpus Christi, Texas. Here are results of everything that happened.
During the Kickoff Show, Stardust beat Zack Ryder.
Also during the Kickoff Show, Daniel Bryan was a guest on Miz TV. Bryan was there to plug his book. Miz acted like a jerk towards him, so Bryan brought out Macho Mandow and AxelMania, who teamed together to send Miz out of the ring.
The main show began with the first time ever Tag Team Title match inside the Elimination Chamber. The New Day were allowed to have all three members in the match. They were also the last team to enter the match, which was apparently a favour from The Authority since New Day helped them on Smackdown. The New Day won the match to retain their titles by last eliminating the Prime Time Players.

John Cena will face Kevin Owens at Sunday’s WWE Elimination Chamber event and it’s one of the biggest matches on the show. It’s also a tough match to predict since Cena’s Us Title is not on the line and Owens’ Nxt Title isn’t either.
They’re facing off because it’s about finding out who the better man is with Owens wanting to prove himself as a “rookie” on WWE’s main roster while Cena wants to prove to the world that he’s still a top guy. This is a match that a lot of people probably wanted to see one day in WWE although most of us didn’t expect to see it so soon.
Who’s going to win? It’s a tough call, so let’s look at both guys.

The WWE Elimination Chamber PPV is no longer going to be the annual February PPV event. In its place will be WWE Fast Lane taking place on Februrary 22, 2015 in Memphis, Tennessee. That’s the date listed on WWE’s internal calendar according to PWInsider and is consistent to when WWE usually holds their annual February PPV.
Why the name Fast Lane? No idea. It’s a racing reference. The old Over The Limit PPV had a racing theme to it too. New WWE announcer Arda Ocal has the name Kyle Edwards, which comes from Nascar drivers Kyle Petty and Carl Edwards. Somebody in WWE is a big time racing fan, that’s for sure. They also used the “Fast Lane” name for an app game involving John Cena, so it’s already trademarked.

There were lots of questions to be answered going in to this years Elimination Chamber, and in all honesty most of those questions were left unanswered as the Blu-ray ended and I ejected it from my player. The show itself turned out to be one of those WWE b-shows that ranged, at various times from poor, to mediocre, to good, to fantastic, so lets look at the actual results before talking about the show in more depth shall we?
Intercontinental Championship: Big E retained his title against Jack Swagger WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Age Outlaws beat The Uso’s Grudge Match: Titus defeated Darren Young WWE Divas Championship: Aj Lee kept her title against Cameron Grudge Match: Batista defeated Alberto Del Rio Six Man Tag Team Match: The Wyatt Family beat The Shield WWE World Title Elimination Chamber Match: Randy Orton retained against Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Cesaro,...

We are twenty-four hours removed from WWE Elimination Chamber, the show that ended with Randy Orton retaining his WWE World Title in a chamber match against five opponents, including Daniel Bryan. Tonight has a lot of hype about it, with the launch of the WWE Network in the Us, and the return of Hulk Hogan to WWE, it should be an interesting night for WWE fans as we continue on the Road to WrestleMania XXX.
The quick results of the matches tonight:
Alberto Del Rio defeated Batista after a distraction from Randy Orton Big E retained his I-c title against Cesaro via a Dq Sheamus pinned Christian Daniel Bryan defeated Kane in one-on-one action Emma beat Summer Rae via submission The Uso’s quickly defeated The New Age Outlaws in a non-title match Bray Wyatt beat Roman Reigns via Dq

The WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is in the books. Going into it, the expectations were that if the two top matches delivered then the whole show would be considered a success.
It’s fair to say that the six man tag between The Shield and Wyatt Family was a match that met the lofty expectations fans had for it while the main event Elimination Chamber match was very good although all people will really remember was the ending.
There were plenty of other things that happened on the show too. People can focus on the negative things like the awful Aj Lee/Cameron match, the poorly written Wade Barrett segments and another tough to watch backstage comedy segment involving WWE toys.
Most of the show was good. Any time you give the main event 40 minutes and another match gets over 20 minutes the results are going to be satisfying for the most part.

The morning after the night before has usually been a hangover for WWE in recent pay per view efforts, with last month in particular leading to mainstream criticism of the Royal Rumble. It was interesting to see then how the company would handle February’s Elimination Chamber event, particularly the awkward placements of its characters ahead of the last stop before Wrestlemania 30.
The promoting of this event was pretty decent. It made for enjoyable television to see Randy Orton having to face off against his opponents for the Chamber on Raw and Smackdown, and the teases for the Wyatt Family versus The Shield were brilliant. The excitement of the go home Raw in particular was strong, so there is a good chance WWE will do some fair buys for its last ever traditional Pay per view.

'WWE Elimination Chamber' live blog: Will Randy Orton retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship?
The last big stop on the road to "Wrestlemania XXX" has arrived, and it's time to determine once and for all who will main event WWE's biggest annual show. It's "WWE Elimination Chamber" and, if prior versions are any indication, it's going to be a vicious night.
Here's the card for the show:
"Elimination Chamber" match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship (Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Cesaro vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus vs. Christian)Batista vs. Alberto Del RioThe Shield vs. The Wyatt FamilyThe New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag Team ChampionshipsBig E. vs. Jack Swagger for the Intercontinental ChampionshipDarren Young vs. Titus O'NeilKickoff: Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel
The match to watch, obviously, is the "Elimination Chamber" spectacle. Randy Orton is most likely going to walk out with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, then go on to meet Batista at "Wrestlemania,...

It's the last big stop on the road to "Wrestlemania XXX," but who will leave "WWE Elimination Chamber" victorious? With thee title fights on the card, it should go a long way in determining what fans will see during WWE's biggest annual event.
Most of the results shouldn't be too much of a surprise, given the rumored "Wrestlemania" matches that have been floating around the internet. Let's take a look at the most likely winners.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship 'Elimination Chamber' Match
If Randy Orton doesn't walk out of "Elimination Chamber" it'll be a surprise, albeit a pleasant one. For months, Orton has been destined to face "Royal Rumble" winner Batista at "Wrestlemania," though fans have been clear about who they'd like to see as champion at the show. If Orton doesn't win, which he absolutely will, then WWE will bend to the will of the fans and...

It’s been said that the Elimination Chamber is a chamber of horrors, built by the wicked and ruled by the ruthless.
Home to some of the most terrifying and menacing matches in WWE history, the Elimination Chamber is a first class ticket to hell as six gladiators are trapped within the barbaric, unrelenting steel structure. Carnage ensues until there is only one sole survivor.
WWE’s Elimination Chamber is this Sunday, February 23, at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and it’s the last pay-per-view before WrestleMania 30.
Careers and legacies are at stake as Randy Orton puts the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Cesaro, Christian, and Sheamus in an Elimination Chamber match.
Other intriguing matches that round out this stacked card include Jack Swagger challenging Big E for the Intercontinental Championship, Alberto Del Rio versus Batista, and The Wyatt Family colliding with...

WWE Elimination Chamber is the last major stop before WrestleMania XXX and it should give us a very good picture of what the card will look like. It is also worth noting that this is the last pay-per-view before the WWE Network launches. Surprise returns and match outcomes are to be expected this night and the night after on Raw. The highlight of the night is certainly the 6-man Elimination Chamber match and it should be fun to see how WWE sets up not only the winner, but every other star in that match for WrestleMania. Here are our predictions for the 2014 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel (Kickoff Match)
The Rhodes are still a topic of interest despite the fact they lost the tag titles. Their rumored WrestleMania match should still be in the works, so I expect them to get a win as long...

The Elimination Chamber match debuted over 11 years ago at the 2002 Survivor Series and this Sunday’s (Feb 23) self-titled pay-per-view will see the 17th edition of the grueling six man elimination which takes place inside a circular steel, chain linked structure.
For those unfamiliar with the rules; Two men start in the ring, whilst the other four participants begin in pods in each corner of the chamber. Every 5 minutes, a new combatant randomly enters. Superstars can be eliminated at any point once they have entered the match, but only by pinfall or submissions, as there are no disqualifications or countouts.
The matches usually take place for a major title or for a world title shot at WrestleMania. The WWE, World Heavyweight and Ecw titles have all been on the inside the chamber. This Sunday’s Chamber match is for Randy Orton’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship,...

The 2014 edition of WWE Elimination Chamber takes place on Sunday, February 23rd in Minneapolis. This is the 5th annual WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, took over from No Way Out as the WWE’s annual February PPV event.
Even though it’s not considered one of WWE’s “big four” PPVs of the year, it usually does better than Survivor Series in terms of PPV buyrates. That won’t matter anymore because with WWE Network launching on February 24th the PPV buy numbers will become irrelevant.
This is also a historical show because it’s the last WWE PPV that American fans will be able to watch “only” on PPV. I put the “only” because there are certainly other methods, but we won’t get into that here.
At this point these are the matches officially announced.

On November 17th, 2002, at Madison Square Garden, the WWE introduced one of the most sadistic and destructive structures seen in Sports Entertainment. Consisting of 2 miles of steel chain, the Elimination Chamber was like no other match concept that anyone had seen before.
Combining elements of Hell in a Cell, The Royal Rumble and War Games, the Elimination Chamber soon established itself as the most destructive match on the WWE calendar. The match has settled issues such as World Championships, Number One Contenderships, and even set up the first ever Money in the Bank cash in over the course of it’s existence.
In the eleven and a half years of the Elimination Chamber, there have been many moments that have gone down in WWE folklore. And with that in mind, here are my top ten Elimination Chamber Moments.

It’s been a pretty terrible couple of weeks for WWE, but something good is on the way, and I’m not talking about Wrestlemania. I’m talking about the Elimination Chamber Pay Per View, one of the more underrated Pay Per Views of the entire WWE schedule.
Sandwiched between the two biggest shows of the year (Mania and the Royal Rumble), the Chamber doesn’t seem to get a lot of love. But at the time of year when WWE’s booking is at its strongest, we get great matches featuring (usually) six of the top superstars on each brand. So rather than dwell on the negative, I’m going to channel my inner optimist and make myself feel better by counting down the 10 best Elimination Chamber matches of all time.

WWE’s next PPV Elimination Chamber takes place on Sunday February 23rd in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the card is now starting to take shape.
This past Monday on Raw, Stephanie McMahon informed us that Randy Orton would defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship inside the Chamber. We also found out that three of his opponents in that match would be John Cena, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan.
This week on Smackdown, we found out who the other two men would be in the Chamber match. Antonio Cesaro beat Dolph Ziggler in the first qualifier and Christian defeated Jack Swagger in the other one. While neither is likely to win the Chamber match and there’s a chance that Christian could be replaced by somebody else (that’s a rumor), both men are great in-ring performers that will definitely improve the quality of the match.

As we found out Sunday night, Jack Swagger won the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match. A mouthful, right? It wasn’t so much that I was shocked by it, cause really I was surprised but not shocked. The reason WWE made the move is what makes me wonder. However, it makes total sense when you think about it.
Chris Jericho winning almost certainly meant that Ziggler would be cashing in between now and Wrestlemania 29. We’d see no surprise in it all, which is kind of a problem. Randy Orton winning would make no sense as he has little history with anyone involved in the World Heavyweight Championship mix And we don’t know if he’ll be a heel or face by Wrestlemania time.
Then we get to the two big guys, first Mark Henry. As much as I love seeing people get their ass...

The final PPV before the grandaddy of them all Wrestlemania has now passed us by, and we are now on a solid course towards the April extravaganza. Let the predictions and wild speculation commence. But, perhaps it would be sensible to reflect on what was a stellar Elimination Chamber event, with the bearing its outcomes will have on Wrestlemania and the road to the prestigious event. With four championship matches, and a match inside the merciless confines of the Elimination Chamber to look forward to, it would prove to be a worthy night of creative booking.

February’s WWE Elimination chamber is in the history books and we are finally heading on the final road towards Wrestlemania. 48 days and counting until the big event in New Jersy, how is it taking shape? Did the Elimination chamber do its job and provide a logical final pay per view before Mania?
The Elimination Chamber card kicked off with Alberto Del Rio taking on The Big Show. Let me start by saying I think this was poor judgment on the part of the company to have these two wrestle in a singles match with no stipulations after there first two encounters were both stipulated. Del Rio has got surprisingly over as a face and it does look as though he is set to go into Mania with the title whilst Big Show gets more boring every time I see him, hopefully he won’t have a role to play on next month’s card.

WWE Elimination Chamber is now over and there is plenty to discuss. From Jack Swagger winning the right to face off with Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania to The Rock successfully defending his WWE Title against Cm Punk this event had something for every fan. Just like the Royal Rumble recap podcast, I sat down with a good friend of mine and super wrestling fan Dan Greenlees to discuss this event from every aspect.
What we basically did was break down every match from the event. Basically we went straight down the list of matches and talked about each match and its ramifications. There was also some side conversations, which happen to be my favorite parts. Pretty much in order we discussed the following.
The Big Show vs Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship
Antonio Cesaro vs The Miz for the United States...

This year’s WWE Elimination Chamber PPV has come and gone, and we are now in full court press mode as we head towards this year’s Wrestlemania. Following this year’s Chamber event, we are left with several developments that now pave the Road to the Showcase of the Immortals.
We here at What Culture give you the 5 things we learned as we leave the Elimination Chamber behind us.
5. Believe in The Shield
At this year’s Elimination Chamber PPV, we were treated to a 6-man tag match featuring The Shield squaring off against John Cena, Ryback, and Sheamus. Initially and at face value this match felt rushed into production, thrown together in the last few days prior to the PPV. But last night The Shield came out on top, surprisingly victorious against the 3 man team of WWE’s top stars. And this was a win The Shield desperately needed,...

WWE Raw this week was fairly low-key as it relates to the build for the WWE Elimination Chamber PPV, which is less than two weeks away. At this point in their push to the next PPV, WWE should be fully booking their flagship show in an effort to hook every viewer they can, especially since we are on The Road to Wrestlemania as well.
Although we did get the surprised unannounced return of a former World Heavyweight Champion, this week’s edition of Raw was lackluster as compared to recent weeks. Still, there are 5 things we learned from the Raw telecast this week, so let’s take a look at 5 things that made headlines.
5. Cm Punk Can Still Cut a Great Promo
WWE promised this week’s show would open with a MizTV segment featuring a Paul Heyman interview. Much to my delight, instead we get an in-ring promo from Cm Punk.

The last WWE Pay-Per-View before Wrestlemania 28, the 2012 Elimination Chamber unsurprisingly feels like a rush job – an afterthought by the company whose attention was firmly focused on their biggest event of the year.
Thankfully though, the Elimination Chamber matches, one for the WWE Championship, the other for the World Heavyweight Championship didn’t disappoint and managed to keep a sell-out crowd at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on their feet. Shame the other matches struggled to compete.
First Match:
Raw Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship
Cm Punk defeated Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, The Mix and Chris Jericho to defend his WWE Championship
Coming into this match-up first, the odds were stacked against Cm Punk. And with Jericho, Punk’s biggest rival at the time, and a veteran of the Elimination Chamber, winning the right to enter last, the chances of him retaining his title looked slim.

WWE have announced that Randy Orton will make his return from his recent downtime and face World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan in a match on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
The show, which will be taped tonight, marks Orton’s first match since he suffered a concussion on Raw in the build up to the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, which he subsequently had to pull out of.
The synopsis from WWE read;
“This Friday at 8/7 Ct on Syfy, Randy Orton will return to SmackDown with his eyes locked on Daniel Bryan – just two weeks after the World Heavyweight Champion gave WWE’s Apex Predator a concussion that kept him out of the Elimination Chamber Match.”
At this point we can’t be certain how Randy Orton fits in to this year’s WrestleMania 28 event where currently Orton does not have a match scheduled. It is possible that Orton...

Tonight’s edition of WWE Raw takes place from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Mn and all the fall-out from last night’s WWE Elimination Chamber will dominate the show as the Road to WrestleMania 28 continues and kicks into a higher gear.
One segment is already confirmed for tonight and that is The Undertaker confronting Triple H with his latest message to goad him into a rematch at WrestleMania. The Undertaker is confirmed to appear in person on tonight’s show.
After John Laurinaitis’ message at the pay-per-view last night we can expect more to evolve in the storyline with him trying to get Teddy Long fired and replace him as General Manager of SmackDown, to coincide with his job on Raw. We can probably expect Laurinaitis along with a bunch of disgruntled SmackDown superstars (such as Alberto Del Rio, Christian and Mark Henry who returned last night) to have...

WWE’s official website have posted a video of Chris Jericho commenting on last night’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view where he failed to capture the WWE Championship from Chris Jericho in a multi-man Elimination Chamber match.
Chris Jericho says in the video that he was never eliminated from the match and that after defeating Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston, the next he knew was that he woke up in the dressing room being treated by physicians.
Jericho proclaims that because he was never defeated, WWE Champion Cm Punk proved nothing by retaining and he is not a worthy champion.
You can watch the video, with some hammy acting from Y2J, below;
It has been long expected that Chris Jericho will take on Cm Punk for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 28, coming from April 1st, 2012.

WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view results from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that took place last night.
Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Booker T open up the video package hyping the two Chamber matches.
1) Elimination Chamber Match for WWE Championship
Cm Punk (c) defeated Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth and Chris Jericho to retain the title.
Kofi and Punk started the match off. Dolph Ziggler was the third man in, R-Truth then the fourth. Cm Punk eliminates R-Truth after the big elbow drop. The Miz is in fourth and then Chris Jericho.
Chris Jericho next defeated Dolph Ziggler with the Code Breaker. Kofi Kingston is next to go after tapping out to the Walls of Jericho.
Punk knocks out Chris Jericho from the chamber who then is ‘knocked out’ and can no longer continue.
That leaves Cm Punk and The Miz as the last two combatants...

WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and the Interim General Manage of Raw John Laurinaitis claims he will make a big announcement at tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
He wrote on his official twitter feed;
“Fyi: I plan to make a Huge announcement at Elimination #Chamber tomorrow. It might stop the show, and will certainly be a Game changer.”
Although we can only speculate at this point, my guess would be that Laurinaitis makes Triple H vs. The Undertaker an official match at WrestleMania 28, with Shawn Michaels set as the special guest referee.
With so few matches announced for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view tonight (four at time of writing) there is definitely room for a further continuation of the Hhh/Taker angle, with Laurinaitis playing devil’s advocate.
As for potential extra matches at the pay-per-view, I’m really hoping Sheamus gets involved in a match as his...

Randy Orton is injured again and has been ruled out for Sunday’s WWE Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Title. He also didn’t compete on last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings and did not face Daniel Bryan as advertised.
Orton was injured during his match against Big Show on Monday’s Raw SuperShow from San Diego, California.
On this week’s SmackDown (Spoiler Alert) Teddy Long announced a Battle Royal main event to see which superstar would replace Orton in the Chamber match and the winner was… not Mark Henry, not a returning Christian, not a returning Alberto Del Rio… but none other than Santino Marella!
WWE.com updated their website with a storyline reasoning for Orton’s injury;
“WWE medical personnel have confirmed that Randy Orton suffered a concussion on Raw SuperShow when World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan smashed Orton over the head with his title.

Announced on last night’s WWE Raw Supershow, a WWE Divas Title match has been added to this Sunday’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
‘The Glamazon’ Beth Phoenix will defend her WWE Divas Title against Tamina. This is expected to be Beth’s filler feud to make her even stronger going into a probable match with Kharma for the Divas Title at WrestleMania 28.
As of right now there are only five matches confirmed for Sunday’s pay-per-view, two of which are Elimination Chamber matches for the WWE Title and World Title respectively, with an Ambulance Match between John Cena and Kane also booked.
We would expect two more matches to be added to the card, hopefully a match for Sheamus who needs to be made stronger than he has been booked having won the 30-man Royal Rumble last month to book a main event slot at WrestleMania and either a U.

Having being injured since December, former two time WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio made his return to the WWE at last night’s WWE SmackDown live event house show in San Francisco, California at The Cow Palace.
Del Rio came to the ring and cut a promo on the crowd before he was interrupted by Sheamus. ‘The Celtic Warrior’ then challenged Alberto to a ‘Royal Rumble Winners Match’ but Del Rio declined the offer and suggested an Arm Wrestling contest instead. Sheamus agreed and they started the tussle but it was judged a No Contest when Roberto Rodriguez interfered. Del Rio quickly high tailed it and Rodriguez was the poor recipient of a Sheamus beat down.
Alberto Del Rio has just about been cleared for a wrestling return which is expected to take place at the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view next Sunday night, if not before.

John Laurinaitis announced on the WWE Raw SuperShow last night that John Cena vs Kane in an Ambulance Match will take place the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on February 19th.
This will be the first Ambulance Match in the WWE in almost eight and a half years since Kane fought Shane McMahon at the WWE Survivor Series in 2003.
WWE.com soon updated their website with confirmation of the match and thus laying out the rules;
“The rules of an Ambulance Match may be simple, but getting to the final bell will be anything but as there are no pinfalls, submissions, count-outs or disqualifications. To win, a competitor needs to incapacitate his opponent, throw him into the back of a waiting ambulance and shut the door, sending him directly to the nearest medical facility.”

During the Six-Pack Challenge main event on last night’s WWE Raw SuperShow, a spot between R-Truth and The Miz was botched, leaving R-Truth being assisted to the back and forced out of the match early. The moment occurred when R-Truth attempted an over-the-top-rope somersault plancha onto The Miz but he failed to stop his fall being broken. R-Truth landed on his back onto the matted floor, causing his head to whip and it looked like he was seriously injured.
During the commercial break, R-Truth was led backstage and when the show returned the announce team informed that the medical staff said he was unable to continue competing.
Following last night’s Raw, Joey Styles got on Twitter and said R-Truth was fine and thankfully did not suffer any injuries.
He wrote, “Breaking News! Somehow, @RonKillings is Ok and has no injuries after flipping over the top rope, missing @MikeTheMiz and hitting the floor.

Chris Jericho’s expected feud with Cm Punk which will culminate with a WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania 28 has truly begun. Y2J officially turned heel on Monday when he attacked Cm Punk during his match against Daniel Bryan, believed to be the first stepping stone towards the Wm main event.
Chris Jericho has furthered the feud yesterday when he wrote on Twitter on Wednesday in regards to Punk’s entrance theme;
“Cult Of Personality playing on Xm. I hate this song….”
Cult of Personality by Living Colour is of course, unmistakeably, the theme song of Cm Punk.
The next expected move in the feud is for Chris Jericho to cut a long promo on Punk on Monday Night’s edition of Raw next week. Y2J was also named as a competitor in the Raw Elimination Chamber match at this month’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view against Cm Punk,...

We have no idea why the WWE couldn’t have announced this on Raw in a few hours but in any event WWE.com have revealed that the Raw main event for the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-pre-view next month will be Cm Punk defending his WWE Title against Chris Jericho, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz.
Poor R-Truth… seemingly bumped for Kingston for no clear reason (unless he has been hanging out with Evan Bourne again). Also interesting to note that at this point there is no place for John Cena, probably meaning the Kane/Cena program will move into another month and that any chance of a Rock/Cena match being for the WWE title have all but gone now.
WWE.com announced the news just a little while ago;
“In breaking news, Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis revealed exclusively to WWE.

On this week’s episode of WWE Superstars it was announced that wrestlers who compete in singles matches at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view will also be eligible for the 3o-man main event Rumble match.
This decision has been made to try and make the winner of the Rumble match more unpredictable and it will allow John Cena & Kane (although for Cena we wonder why he would need to be in the match, unless if he wins he gets a shot at the WWE Elimination Chamber instead as his Rumble match against The Rock is already booked) and most likely Dolph Ziggler (as Cm Punk is expected to retain WWE Title) and the two losers of the probable Daniel Bryan vs Mark Henry vs Big Show World Title three-way to be involved in the match.

The plans for the WWE Royal Rumble later this month go like this;
In terms of who is expected to win the Royal Rumble, as we noted earlier the original idea of Randy Orton winning seems to have been nixed at this point. Of course plans change all the time in the WWE but with concerns over Orton’s recent injury and the WWE World Title picture at WrestleMania 28 not being as clear as the WWE Title and specifically who his opponent could be, an Orton win now seems unlikely.
The current plan seems to be Orton competing at the Rumble which takes place in his home town of St. Louis, Missouri but being eliminated with an injury angle played out that would keep him off television for several more weeks leading into WWE Elimination Chamber February PPV.
As we speculated (and hoped) before, Chris Jericho is expected to feud...
