I love this series as it goes into depth, about off the beaten track stories.
Focusing on villages and cities on and around the old Silk Road of antiquity, each episode explores local customs and traditions, many of which are now sadly dying off.
They examine hunting with eagles, hand woven carpets and many other dying trades.
From Mongolia, China, India to Kazakhstan, Turkey, and the Persian Gulf and every little place in between.
It is very well made with a very high standard of cinematography.
If you like history, culture, travel then this series is a must.
