La Banda del Brasiliano, is a very good fresco of the thirty aged Italian people of today in this moment of crisis and loss of jobs. The conversations between the Banda's members and the kidnapped employee tell us a lot about this people and are an homage to Tarantino and the Italian crime movie of the '70s. Carlo Monni's inspector Brozzi is a very good interpretation of an old and disillusioned police man in one of Monni's last movies. All the movie is well filmed and played by the John Snellinberg's joint, an interesting group of actors and filmmakers from the town of Prato, Tuscany, where the movie has been done. La Banda del Brasiliano is edit in DVD and broadcast in the Italian channel Rai Movie.
