This whole show is carried by a 12-year-old boy, Maxim Knight. The only actor in this travesty who deserves any kind of praise. But even he has to submit to the stable genius producer Stephen Spielberg and empty-headed writers, who all make him constantly throw tantrums, hug his daddy twice every minute, and generally act like a kid who needs some serious therapy. In the short moments when he's allowed to play a normal person, he shows some real talent.
The "Porter" character... the actor's biography says he was in Vietnam. I don't know what he did there (a cook?), but the guns arrangement he's wearing is not only useless but dangerous. Both holsters are worn backwards and dangle around like Xmas tree decorations. And he uses his holster straps mostly to support his own hands instead of properly positioning his guns. You'd think that after a military academy and "31 combat operations" the man would at least learn how to carry a sidearm and not to cross-pull.
But wait, it gets better! Some perfectly coiffed nurse says "Let me check something" and starts poking a boy in the SPINE with a SCALPEL. He doesn't feel anything but... maybe try it with a finger first? And it goes on like this. And it's only the FIRST SEASON!!!
