Dan finally admits to Carla that he's lost his job, he puts some focus into finding a job, whilst she takes some advice from Joy about how to de-stress herself.
Well, I wasn't fully sold on episode one, and I have to say my opinion has only moved fractionally. I think it's going to be one of those shows that's definitely watchable, but perhaps one where the laughs are a little few and far between. I just think considering who we have here fronting up this show, it could have been a bit more daring.
The exploration of the couple's relationship is interesting enough, and I am liking their friends more, I just wish it had a few laughs.
Juliet Cowan certainly comes with a degree of comedy talent, she in fact appeared in my favourite show last year, Am I being unreasonable, I'm not sure her talents are fully being made use of here.
6/10.
