'Aussie Pride' is a documentary looking at the use of the Southern Cross in Australian culture. It looks at the way in which many people identify and represent themselves with symbols of national pride. Using the case study of a social-networking group who promote 'Aussie Pride' and discuss group psychology with a leading psychologist in the field. The documentary also takes the audience to a protest outside of the Villawood Immigration Detention Centre and gathers the opinions of many different individuals on the issue of national pride.
