It's a very poor final episode.

I am genuinely gutted by the way this turned out, I loved the initial premise and opening episode, sadly it took a real dip in episode two, and this final one, the quality has really crashed.

They could have easily condensed there episodes down into two, had they edited this properly, they could have had something really rather good. As it stands this was painfully slow, with very little happening, and far too many glazed stares into the drizzle.

There was a predictability and inevitability about this that they could have played against, but they chose not to.

Jason, no offence to Lee Ingleby, who did a fair job, given the dismal character, but he was atrociously written.

The one shining light here had to be Josette Simon, I thought she acted really well, and made something from the poor script.

A limp end, 4/10.

Warning: Spoilers
By the middle of this episode. I was wondering if the third episode was superfluous.

The story could had been told in two episodes.

The police eventually arrive. The siege is over. Jo manages to shoot dead one of the buddies and is hailed a hero.

The motivation for the shooters was pretty weak. They grew up in a violent household and were miffed that the brother was sacked for theft.

Then again the motivation for mass shooters in the USA is even less.

However the drama was not over when the shooting stopped. The survivors had to cope with the aftermath.

For Jo, she is confronted for the reasons she went on the holiday. Her affair lives her exposed.

The trouble is at this point, I lost interest in the characters. The flashbacks were still annoying.
