- When a player is shot, small blood spurts can be shown, but this is done from afar so you cannot really see it.
- No gore, only some blood.
- DEFINITELY NOT AS VIOLENT AS RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2. This game has toned done the violence from the original game to focus more on exploring with your friends. Do not be confused with parent reviews for red dead redemption 2.

- You can drink alcohol in a bar in this game which can make you drunk. When you are drunk the screen moves in weird directions and you character stumbles a lot while walking. Though this only lasts for a few seconds.
