Average :(

Frankly this movie is quite simple and predictable. There is no strong build up for the story. Nor there was any good twist or something.

The movie lacked required voltage and hence it's average. Director concentrated well on the aspects of framing and bringing richness on to celluloid but didn't bother much about narration of the movie.

Mainly dialogues are routine with no sparks to underline, Cinematography is good and sound effects are average. On a whole the screenplay is straight and flat without any mindblowing twist. Director could have worked more on the departments of dialogues and script. Especially the scene where Satya Raj discovers his son in battered condition is very weak and couldn't bring in any emotion.

Bottom-line : Not Recommended

An all-out popcorn entertainer!

I just happened to watch SANKHAM in Hindi on Prime Video.

I think the film was entertaining with many cool action scenes, catchy songs and mass moments. Gopichand and Sathyaraj delivered great performances and Trisha too came up with a decent act. Rest of the cast also did well.

I felt the first half was kinda slow in setting up the story. There were too many songs (though quite good) and certain comedy scenes felt unimpressive. Still, the writing managed to hold me as I knew I was watching an action entertainer with loads of masala. Just before the interval bang, an action sequence brings back the film to life and from there on, it's an all-out entertainer.

While dialogues are quite simple, the film still has moments which are enough to entertain any fun-seeking viewer. Loaded with intense action, SANKHAM delivers without irritating the viewer.

On the technical front, it's a pretty good film considering the time it released around. I liked the cinematography style in many of the action scenes. The emotional scenes in the second half felt impactful to a great extent.

On the whole, SANKHAM is an all-out popcorn entertainer. If you like action movies, this is the film for you. While not the best one, it's still a highly entertaining action film which once again showcases Gopichand as an "Action Star".
