Red's opening monologue cites the famous LA smog and then some gags about numerous Hollywood divorces. He moves on to a couple of Gertrude and Heathcliffe seagull jokes and finishes with demonstrations of how out of towners drive when visiting LA and how a woman driver operates. The single sketch, titled "Freddie's Masquerade", opens with a tap-dancing florist who is soon joined by Freddie the Freeloader as they dance to "Way Down Upon the Swanee River." The florist is delivering flowers to a big masquerade party at the mansion of a wealthy matron. Freddie manages to sneak in the merrymaking by pretending to be dressed as a hobo (his real clothing). Freddie is even awarded the prize for best costume! At the end of the program, Red appears onstage to hawk a new book, called "Vaudeville - From the Honky Tonks to the Palace" written by Joe Laurie, Jr., which says some nice things about Skelton's days in vaudeville.
