Supplies from it are donated to the hospital, where Jill is under attack from a selfish doctor on the board, who wants to dump Jill as an administrator, believing her only priorities are patient care and Hank. Boris's trust in Hank is stretched to the very limit when his still neglected medical history is 'misplaced', but Hank promises to be what no previous specialist could - his medical quarterback.—KGF Vissers
- Recap, then opens with neither Boris nor Divya knowing the whereabouts of Hank.
Divya ends up taking the first call, a man named Spencer Fisher who produces and stars in famous infomercials. Fisher has been going through the house left by his departed dad, feeling pin and needle sensations in his hands and arms, and hasn't been sleeping much lately. Divya prescribes a low dose of Atavan.
Hank finds Evan waiting for their father, Eddie, in a Waldorf Astoria hotel room. Hank thinks Evan is making a huge mistake trusting that their father will return with their money. He thinks Evan should leave with him, but Evan decides to stay.
Back at the guest cottage, Hank can't find Boris' file. Divya tells Hank they need to find money soon or they will be in trouble, and she does not want to talk about her possible marriage.
Divya calls Evan (asleep on Eddie's sofa with a Spencer Fisher infomercial playing on TV) to ask for help with his confusing accounting system. As she demands he return and help get their money in order, he gleans from the conversation that she went through with her engagement.
Hank meets Boris on his grounds. Hank apologizes for being unavailable, explaining it was due to family issues he had to handle. Boris found his file lying on a table and, upset, retrieved it.
Dr. Liz Blair tells Jill she's upset the hospital is understaffed. She tells Jill that, though the patients are happier, the doctors are not satisfied with their working conditions.
As Hank and Divya review their financial situation, Dieter (Boris' man-servant) enters, hands Hank Boris' file, then leaves without a word.
Evan finally returns home and apologizes for being stood up by Eddie. He presents a new "turnaround plan." During the conversation, the phone rings with word that Spencer has had an accident.
Hank, Divya and Evan arrive at the Fisher house. Evan tells Hank that that "Spencer the Spaz" is the most famous infomercial actor on television. They find him dangling in one of his father's ultra-modern mansion's closets. They lay him down on the floor and Hank looks him over. Fisher says his back locked up while fixing some lights. Hank diagnoses muscle spasms and tells him to get sleep and to avoid labor. Evan obsesses over Fisher's dad's high-tech house and panic room. Fisher says his dad had been disturbingly eccentric and wants to dismantle the room. Evan notices a high amount of medical supplies, which Divya points out Jill could use at her free clinic.
Liz has filed a complaint against Jill, bothered by how Jill's relationship with Charlie may have solidified his departure.
Finding Hank waiting in her office, Jill tells him she's finalized the divorce with Charlie. Hank wants to take her on a ride.
Evan is having trouble drumming up business (shown in a montage of rejection calls).
Bringing Jill to the Fisher place, they finds him with his hand nail-gunned to a door. As Hank pulls out the nail with pliers, Spencer tells Jill she can take any of his dad's medical supplies she would like for the hospital's free clinic. Spencer fears he'll end up going crazy the way his father did; Hank can't guarantee he won't, but doesn't think dismantling the panic room is the right move.
Back in the cottage, Evan has an idea for marketing the company: infomercial. Hank hates the idea and leaves the room. Divya tells Evan he must first regain Hank's trust as a brother before getting to into the CFO role. She shares that at the last moment at the party she realized she had to embrace family and go with the engagement.
Divya goes to the patio to talk with Hank about Evan. Her move to London is because "sometimes you have to meet family halfway." Spencer calls but the signal cuts out. Divya heads out to Spencer's place; Hank tells her to take Evan with her.
Hank tells Boris he's finally reviewed his file. Boris has talked to researchers all over the world but has gotten no help. Hank thinks someone needs to examine the "big picture," talking to all of the doctors he's worked with and be his "quarterback." Hank leaves Boris to think about sending him first to Havana Hospital.
At Spencer's, Divya tells Evan her wedding is in sixty days. They find Spencer caught in the door of his father's panic room (a serious situation).
Hank rushes over a few minutes ahead of the EMTs. Severely compromised, the pressure of the door is what keeps Spencer alive, so they can't open it without risking his bleeding out. With a major cut from the door, Spencer starts going into shock. The EMT's arrive and Hank tells him they will have to rush Spencer to the ER once the door is moved.
During the board meeting to review Liz' complaint, Jill gets a '911' call from Hank. Hank has Jill go into the hospital basement and find something labeled "MAST."
Hank had Jill grab inflatable Military Anti-Shock Trousers to help stabilize Spencer's blood pressure. They try to figure out the quickest route to the hospital. Hank has Evan squeeze into the panic room and hit the release button. They open the door and drag Spencer out. His BP dives. They stop the bleeding and put on the special pants. EMTs rush Spencer to the hospital.
They get Spencer inside and Liz - now the new acting chief of emergency services - takes over and asks Hank to assist.
Evan and Divya talk about family. He tells her he started talking to Eddie about a year ago on his thirtieth birthday; the first thing his father asked after twenty years was "How's Hank?"
Hank tells Spencer he is going to be okay and that his dad's use of mercury caused his mental illness and kidney failure. It's also what's caused Spencer's recent clumsiness.
Boris agrees to let Hank contact a previous doctor and hands over a football. Evan arrives having sold his sports car to help the business' balance sheet. The brothers toss the football between them and seem to make-up.
Hank and Evan walk in the house and find their father, Eddie, playing pool. He hands Hank a check, the return in their investment, and after Hank hands the check off to Evan, punches his father in the face.
