Quotes

  • Bobby Singer : So. You must be Samuel.

Samuel Campbell : You must be the guy pretending to be their father.

Bobby Singer : Somebody ought to.

  • Bobby Singer : It was Omaha. It was my fault. And he never let it go.

Dean Winchester : [without hesitation]  Well, he should have.

Bobby Singer : You don't know what I did, Dean.

    Dean Winchester : Doesn't matter.

Bobby Singer : What do you mean, it doesn't...

Dean Winchester : I mean, at the end of the day, you two were family. Life's short. And ours are shorter than most. What, are we gonna spend it wringing our hands? Something's gonna get us. Eventually. And when my guts get ripped out, just so you two know, we're good. Blanket apology for the crap that anybody's done, all the way around.

Sam Winchester : Some of us pulled a lot of crap, Dean.

Dean Winchester : Well. Clean slate.

    Sam Winchester : Okay.

  • Dean Winchester : [Big smile]  Well, look what the cat dragged in.

[He and Sam are seeing Rufus for the first time in a long time]

Sam Winchester : It really is good to see you, Rufus.

Rufus Turner : [shaking hands with Sam and Dean]  I can believe it. It must get old dealing with this miserable cuss here all by yourselves.

Sam Winchester : Ha! Is it that obvious?

Bobby Singer : Why don't you three get a room?

  • Dean Winchester : [Bobby is showing Sam and Dean a spike in monster activity in the past week, circling locations on a US map]  Nest of vamps, werewolf dance party. Shifters, six of them. Two hunters died taking them out. Ghouls, ghouls, ghoul-wraith smorgasbord.

Dean Winchester : Is it just me, or is that a straight kick line down I80?

Bobby Singer : [Draws a line along the interstate on the map]  Exactly.

Dean Winchester : Looks to me like it's a... Sherman march monster mash.

  • Rufus Turner : So, we partnering on this, or not?

[Bobby gives him a shocked look]

Rufus Turner : C'mon, man, it's not rocket surgery. We're here. Let's do this. Just like ol' times.

Bobby Singer : As long as I get to drive.

Rufus Turner : [laughing]  Hell, no.

  • Samuel Campbell : What if that thing's still in ya, and we can't trust a word you're sayin'?

Dean Winchester : [points his gun at Samuel]  It's not!

Bobby Singer : Check your ear.

Dean Winchester : [Looks at Bobby and lowers his gun]  What do you mean, check my ear? Check my ear for what?

[while he's distracted, Rufus pokes his finger into Dean's ear]

    Dean Winchester : Hey! Wha-

[Pulls away, then checks his own ear, muttering]

Dean Winchester : Why don't you buy me a drink first?

    Rufus Turner : Second date.

  • Bobby Singer : Listen, Rufus, I been thinking.

Rufus Turner : Yeah, will wonders never cease!

Bobby Singer : Shut up a minute. I'm tryin' to say somethin'. It was my fault.

    [Rufus goes really still]

    Bobby Singer : Omaha.

Rufus Turner : [Trying to shrug it off]  Nah. No, it wasn't.

Bobby Singer : No, I shoulda listened to you.

Rufus Turner : [laughing it off]  Oh, hey, that's categorical, Bobby.

Bobby Singer : I- Lemme... just get this out.

Rufus Turner : [Smiling, but with a hard warning in his eyes]  Bobby, we've had this conversation already, okay?

Bobby Singer : No, we haven't. I never said I'm sorry, Rufus. I- You lost her because of me, and I...

Rufus Turner : [Smiling at first]  Bobby, I said we've had this conversation already.

[His smiles drops completely and his tone grows hard]

Rufus Turner : And you can blab all day... And it wouldn't change a thing, Bobby.

    [pause]

Rufus Turner : I will never... forgive you... for what happened. You got that? *Never*. So, change the subject. Bob.

  • Rufus Turner : I got a damn pacemaker.

Dean Winchester : Well, you better hope it's a good one.

Bobby Singer : Since when do you got a pacemaker?

Rufus Turner : Since Bush Jr., term one. I'm down three toes, too, F.Y.I.

  • Bobby Singer : All those vamps and ghouls out on I-80... maybe they're coming in for Mother's Day.
