I try not to question the motive for killing because it's just tv and I can't say for certain that someone would kill because they felt their Mother didn't meet her potential and was humiliated.

Honestly question though. How does someone with a Ph. D. let a Neandertal than works in a grocery store (at least at the time of her death) convince her to "get real" and become a house worker?

I suffer through FBI Most Wanted every week. I want it to be a better show than it is. The plots of the episode never make sense, however this was the best and most believable to date. Excellent acting from the mother and son btw.

Confusing episode

Long way from being convinced about the motive. If I were Binh, I'd be upset at those who wronged my mom but I am a realist. I killed my Marine bunkmate due to his racist harassment and got away with it. I am not pushing my luck. Thuy (PhD in Chemistry) chose to clean houses for a living and she chose to stay with her husband even though he gambled away everything. Attacking the casino dealer makes no sense. Gambling can be an addiction but it is a choice. Why did I kill Mrs. Tooms? She never made anyone do anything either. If someone is a bad friend then don't let them in your life anymore. Attacking his mom's former boss kind of makes sense but what he did is the nature of the service industry. Anyway, this series was very solid before Kenny Crosby was sidelined. Jess knows Kenny is his #1. I am just biding my time until he comes back. All scenes in crime dramas MUST make sense!

One trick pony

All the current crime shows have become one trick ponies. All of the crimes are committed or made worse because of racism. It's like watching the same episode over and over again. No creative storylines, just lazy writers reaching for the same tired plot points. It was interesting the first four or five times but it's gotten terminally boring for the viewer. There is a world of crime out there and they need to expand their view.

Vengeance Too Ghastly

I like this show, and agree with the other reviewer that the actors who played mother and son were top-notch. I had nightmares after this episode, however, and think the producers crossed the line in terms of the depictions of this particularly ghastly method of violence being too traumatic for viewers of a tv show. Napalm is one of the cruelest weapons of all time. The motivation for the son to use it as retaliation for his mother's suffering was tenuous and unbelievable. I decided against watching the show any more without carefully reviewing the upcoming episode summaries.

One of the worse episodes of this awful show!

This show has been bad from the start, but this had to be one of the worse shows ever. Talk about a helicopter mom this lead is a worse helicopter dad of all time. Now he is works FRI cases where he has no set schedule, but is telling his kid who going off to horse school. To text every day and they will face time every other day. Hard to plan this and to do when you have no idea where or what you will be doing. Not to mention many of the plots have been covered by Dick Wolf already in his many many other series! Nothing new in plot this series just very bad acting from the cast!
